Could be that. Or it could be that she just didn't feel attracted to him anymore, people change. Or maybe her friends convinced her the grass was greener elsewhere. Or maybe there's another man she met and caught feelings for.

Or some other reason. At the end of the day it doesn't matter, if somebody doesn't want you the only thing you can do is move on :yeshrug:

But women who expect you to read their minds even when they don't have their own mind understood, is a recipe for a headache. And ask yourself, can you deal with THAT for another 35-40 years of your life?

Been there. Take some time to yourself and then start dating again. Don't do it too quick since rebound relationships aren't stable but don't stay away too long and get fearful of being hurt again.

Trust me, once you get a new chick in your life she may try to reach out again. Be cordial but don't take her back unless you are super sure she is the one and she admits her mistakes and changes.

She knows she isn’t getting younger and probably started to believe the OP was stringing her along and may have never planned to marry her. She probably had her friends and family in her ear also.

That’s why as soon as I heard the ages and OP talking about how she was complaining about a proposal I said it was probably a wrap midway through year 3.

Women ain’t stupid.
