Apparently Dillon Gabriel didn't get a concussion and this is a setup to make Sheduer look bad. This league is crazy.

:comeon:
They conspire against players they don't want to succeed all of the time. A white QB would be accepted with open arms with Shedeur's confidence. It only takes a few people in power positions. Put you out there unprepared, drive your stock down, underpay you, even get you kicked off the team.

The leaps y’all go for his dad and him, look the kid beat the odds and got drafted, but he’s limited, it’s first rounders who left college with way more stats accolades and hardware who failed, i don’t wish failure on anyone but y’all refuse to be objectionable and call it for what it is

A little town called none ya got damn bidness
Didn’t know the backups don’t get reps , I thought it was like A 80/20 split or 90/10 split

If it’s true that them nikkaz don’t get shine then Shedeur just wasn’t prepared
For what its worth, there was a preseason game where Sanders played the 2nd half and Stefanski pulled him when it was time to run the 2 minute offense for Snoop Huntley which was very odd to say the least :manny:

Niccas will fight tooth and nail lol---even against what former players are telling you about how reps work---but they swear they have some sort of inside scoop on some

type ish.

Ya boy Brady even said he was only gettin' 2 reps per practice when he was with y'all in college, and that he started out complaining, but then started making sure he made those the best reps of his life until he got more. Obviously, it's not gonna be the same for every organization/sport across the board but this fake outrage over him not working with 1s is crazy 😭

Putting Sanders aside, I am shocked that people thought/think Gabriel was worthy of being a starting QB. He is too small and he's awful.

The only way he'd be "successful' is on a loaded team with an amazing run game and defense that could allow him to always play ahead of the sticks. Like an offensive line and run game like Indianapolis', receivers like Cincy, play calling like Ben Johnson with lots of under center play action, indoor stadium and defense like the Browns or Eagles.

Also, I think Baker didn't get any reps with the 1s his first time around with the Browns either when he had to enter a game on the fly.

I don't understand why this aspect is being made to be a big deal...

I hope Shedeur gets a fair shake when it's all said & done, but I'm not sure why mfs who are not even fans of the Browns are this heavily invested (obsessed) :mjlol:

Baker also saved his career joining a team two days before a game and not knowing the play book. There's a difference between not being prepared and not getting enough reps

It was just one game so we'll see what happens, the alarming thing is he doing exactly what he did in college

Dillon Gabriel was getting first team reps the entire time Flacco was there including training camp :unimpressed:

All the primettes have really backed themselves into a corner with this because if he doesn't look great next week ya'll are going to look insane.

He probs should have got some first team reps cuz that qb room shaky, but he was still doing all the shyt he did in college that can only work there with his athletic profile. So unless he completely changes his style in a week :francis:

If the recievers catch the ball on that last drive its a different narrative today. He did miss that one dude in the end zone, but that can be attributed to reps/getting timing with the receivers down and etc.

Okay, so let's look at the situation then...

Flacco and Pickett = a super vet & a 4 yr pro who the coaches prolly feel like doesn't need 100% of the reps and can sacrifice some...

As opposed to Gabriel, who is a rookie, who looks bad himself and prolly needs 100% of the reps. It's not really rocket science and there is no conspiracy.

Moving forward, he'll prolly get all or share the reps now that they know they'll be byke and forth with Gabriel the rest of the season to figure this out.

to be fair that was in camp when it was still a competition and they were evaluating Gabriel against Flacco and Pickett. They never considered Shedeur a candidate to start out of the gate so he never got those reps. Unless I'm mistaken Gabriel didn't run with the 1's at all after camp until Flacco was gone.

Stefanski said it himself Gabriel was getting first team reps even after camp when Flacco was still there. And he made the excuse that it’s because Joe is a veteran.

He was never gonna beat out Joe as the starter so even the training camp reps were BS

Sheduer even had to share scout team reps with Bailey Zappe :unimpressed:

Folks have been sounding the alarm and saying since training camp that the Browns and Stefanski were not developing Shaduer and setting him up to fail. Folks made all types of excuses and said we were Shaduer stans and exaggerating. This game and what was disclosed in the presser afterwards proved us right. He was setup to fail. Of course we hoped he would overcome the circumstances and ball out but absolutely nobody should be shocked he struggled given the circumstances. It was predictable, expected and 100% avoidable if the browns and coaches did their job.

Once Flacco was traded away and Sanders was QB2 the browns knew he was one hit away from being in the game. There are no excuses for them not having ANY plan or prep for Shaduer in the event this happened. That's 100% on the coaching and that is the definition of setting your QB up to fail. You can argue all you want about the why and talk about how Dillon needs all the reps but since the coaches made that decision they have to OWN it. This is a situation they created and gambled on when they decided to completely ignore Shaduers development and practice with the first team.
