Is it an insult to Herbert a 1st round pick to compare him to a 5th rounder in Sanders
or
A compliment to a 5th round pick in Sanders to compare him to a 1st rounder in Herbert?

Having a prime Keenan Allen and Mike Williams can help too

a top 10 pick got 0 1st team reps

This also leaves out that the QB1 is also a rookie and needs as many snaps and reps as possible to find out if he's worth keeping or not. By splitting reps with SS then in a way the coach would be setting both up to fail. Either way it's too early to deem SS a failure based off one performance.
I agree, I’m not saying that anyone is right or wrong. Just that none of these cats are nuanced. Just very my way or the highway.

It’s like A Rod now entering the chat and saying 1st round QBs never start in their first 3 years. I sat for 3 years.

:dead: at the cognitive dissonance. Now Shedeur is a 5th round pick and why are we comparing him to Herbert? The whole point is his stans have been arguing that he's a 5th round pick in name only and only fell because of politics. If he has the talent than go and prove it.

You are comparing a half game to an entire game, and Justin Herbert lost 8 of his first 10 games.

The idea of using him to compare to 16 throws from Seduer is some dumb ass shyt. :stopitslime:

not the guy,
Since when can you make this determination off 16 throws behind a bad line on a terrible team?

Browns ain’t had A QB live up to their potential EVER since they came back after the expansion.

Joe Flacco went from the worst QB in the league to MVP play when he left the browns.

Realistically what was Sheduer expected to do with this team???

It's clear the cult of personality will never admit he's not the guy, or even admit he ever has bad games or bad plays. It's always going to be someone else's fault, or conspiracy, or sabotage. This isn't about football. It's stan wars shyt. It's Taylor Swift, Kendrick v Drake, Trump, etc.

nikkas in here thinking its some deep rooted conspiracy to the point tv pundits and coaches are in cahoots to sabotage Shadeur :dead:

This is absolute madness, the ironic thing is he may be okay at some point but the way these zealots have built him up if he not a top 5-10 qb they are going to look fukking insane :pachaha:

He's not good, which is why he fell to the 5th round. Gabriel isn't good either, which is why he fell to the 3rd round. Which is why Cleveland will draft a QB next year. Day 3 QBs almost never pan out. At that point you're hoping a guy can be a backup.

I already stated his performance was the product of being in a tough spot/situation. But he couldn't even look serviceable. Which to me, again, points to the fact that he's not an NFL starting QB. But lets be real: the cult told us this guy could come in at any moment and ball out. They built this myth and now have to deal with the expectations.

Lotta you are more concerned with fighting the stan fight as opposed to talking about what’s going on with him and the Browns this year.

And that goes for both sides.

You decided he was bad a long time ago so you latch on to anything that supports that angle while ignoring things that don’t, just like the other side goes the other way.

In reality, his draft position doesn’t matter anymore and the Browns ain’t shyt. No matter how good he ends up being the Browns have not put him in a position to be successful. So coming out after 16 throws and condemning him to trash is just your confirmation bias at this point. Same way if 3 of those dropped balls were caught the Browns woulda won and his stan’s would say it proves how great he is.

Which is exactly why I told people if you truly like Shadeur you do not want him playing this year until we fix our line and receivers no QB will look great unless it’s Josh Allen or Pat Mahomes or Lamar

Lamar had 5 sacks and 2 interceptions in this game. Talented defenses are gonna make good plays regardless.

Ravens brung the house almost every play against a bad line and rookie QB in his first action. At that point it was up to the Browns to scheme some better plays. Look at what the ravens did that last touchdown. Browns aint got none of that. Just trash from top to bottom :smh:

As someone who has not taken a side in this wretched debate from the beginning...

Why must the debate be about the other side instead of the facts on ground, which is that regardless of the non-zero possibility that Shedeur may be a bust, Dillon Gabriel was given reps as QB2, reps that Shedeur was not given reps as QB2?

Speaking about irrational expectations from "the other side" and trying to make this a stan war is simply deflection.

Because Gabriel is a fukking rookie and needs all the reps he can get oh my god. This is why you shouldn't draft two rookie QBs! It's not a conspiracy.
