All things considered, this was actually wild :mjlol::heh:

Chargers fans were sad Rivers was retiring, pessimistic on draft night from missing on Tua, had zero interest about Herbert during training camp, then he comes out and starts ripping the football.

Not even kidding, not a single Chargers fan I saw on Reddit nor talked to locally was excited for Herbert. Everyone thought he was going to be Paxton Lynch and was looking forward to landing Trevor Lawrence the next year.

People on espn and Fox saying the backup never gets first team reps but last night unc and ocho swore that backups get some 1st team reps. Which is it?
If they are all citing Kurt Warner it’s stupid cause he was injured half of the time. So he not only needed every rep he could get, the backups got damn near as many as he did just of injuries.

This is the problem when everyone cites one source. Like you are saying ESPN, Cam Newton is on ESPN and questioned why he didn’t get reps. Orlovsky is on ESPN and was supporting stefanski. Now I’m questionable regarding agents and conspiracy theories, but word is that Stefanski and Orlovsky are both represented by the same division within CAA. Which might be why he’s campaigning for Stefanski to the Giants so hard, which should be tortious interference. On the other hand Cam might just be a Sanders Stan.

all of this over a rookie QB being thrown in a game for like 2 quarters? :dahell:
You forgot that Dillon Gabriel’s pre season debut had more posts than a regular NFL Sunday with like 10 games :mjlol:

We love to act like we are above petty espn bullshyt, men lie, women lie…

I think people are describing to specific situations .
Shannon, Ocho, Cam on the one hand (as mentioned severely biased, and thereby irrelevant, camp Sanders people), and these guys on the other hand.

Like OK Herbert was QB1 from week 2.

We are in week 10 of the team sucking and he's QB2, and QB1 sucks, how is that a relevant comparison?

Also being a random late round pick rookie behind a solid QB1 is not the same as being the QB1 being a mid-round random mediocre player and the QB2 being a mid-late round mediocre wack player.

It's all situational. These specific examples is like if Jay-z said, how can you not be rich as fukk just do like I did.

And I'm saying all this as someone camp Sanders been calling a c00n and hater and whatnot. I just wanna see something balanced and nuanced. Not these biased hot-takes, specific comparisons etc. Brehs claim to be analysts but they are not providing any analysis.

Everybody looking for a narrative to promote for clicks.

Talk should be about the Browns THIS YEAR.

They have two rookie QBs they claimed they were extremely dedicated to “developing”

They also claimed they are making the best choices to win games.

Regardless of name or skill or draft place or whatever controversy people want to latch on to.

The Browns have done a HORRIBLE job at both of these Goals they claimed are their priority.

They traded away both of their vets for an unproven rookie behind a terrible O line.

Browns QBs have gotten hurt EVERY YEAR over the last 5 years or so. From Baker, To DW to DTR to Joe Flacco. EVERY QB under center for the Browns gets beat the fukk up.

It was sports malpractice to trade away both your vets who before the season you thought were good enough to lead the team, only to have two unproven, unprepared rookies supposedly leading your team.

Justin Herbert videos are irrelevant to what’s happening in cleveland this year

This also leaves out that the QB1 is also a rookie and needs as many snaps and reps as possible to find out if he's worth keeping or not. By splitting reps with SS then in a way the coach would be setting both up to fail. Either way it's too early to deem SS a failure based off one performance.

Is it an insult to Herbert a 1st round pick to compare him to a 5th rounder in Sanders
or
A compliment to a 5th round pick in Sanders to compare him to a 1st rounder in Herbert?

Having a prime Keenan Allen and Mike Williams can help too

Why would he receive the same treatment as a 3rd rounder when he’s a 5th rounder. Like think about it.
He’s the only other QB on the roster.
Browns said they were dedicated to developing him.

His Draft position is irrelevant.

Just something some of you use to justify this dumb ass shyt outta the browns :stopitslime:

Facts...Everything you mentioned is on point!
AFC North football, it's malpractice on the coaching staff not to have their backup QB take first team reps in practice
