You right you right, if someone sends pressure you can only throw to a receiver or take a sack. throwing it out of bounds is not an option. I'm glad I'm learning new rules today :blessed:
I mean the play is right there posted above.

The defenders were on his ass before he could even finish dropping back. He tried to get out of the pocket and there was another guy there. Like maybe a veteran QB could have gotten out of it, but those types of plays are usually the ones that end in a sack.

Lamar Jackson was sacked 5 times this game. Nobody would come out of the game saying he sucks cause he held the ball too long.

The Ravens have a terrible line and Myles Garrett had 4 of the 5 sacks.

Lamar is playing hurt, Baltimore has a bottom 5 OL and he's the most athletic QB of all time which is why he normally can get away with holding the ball. Stop with this dumb comparison. Shedeur isn't Lamar.

Oh so taking 5 sacks as a vet is ok.

But a rookie taking sacks in his first game behind a terrible line is an indictment on his skills/decision making.

You can’t keep it consistent cause your narrative is based on your feelings not what actually happened in the game :francis:

It’s just one big Juelz at this point. The tape already been broken down and the bias towards Dillon already been proven. these guys are just thirsty to hate.

Shadeur has taken a ton of sacks his whole career, doing exactly what he did on sunday.

Now he can change that, but as of today this is and has been true.

Again, within the context of the game on sunday plenty of QBs would have taken those sacks.

I could see if he was taking sacks on 1st/2nd down or getting knocked outa field goal range or something. Then yeah you can criticize those sacks.

But in this game all of his sacks were on 3rd and long in baltimore territory, with an extreme blitz.

Baltimore knew they could send the house cause the browns have a shytty line, a rookie QB, turmoil at the coaching level and they abandoned the run.

Don’t care what you think about Shedeur those are insurmountable circumstances for most(All?) QBs in the league

He don’t need to be super successful but 4-16 and 47 is horrible. And picking up the voice of the qb can be done in a couple snaps and really wasn’t a problem I don’t recall any or many false starts. I’m trying not to judge him too hard but if he goes out there against the raiders and looks bad then idk
NFL players have come out and said an Oline not knowing the cadence of the backup QB in week 11 is unheard of and malpractice on the part of coachng. A couple of snaps isn't going to fix that.

great breakdown by Kurt Warner

Once again, an unbiased and fair review of what REALLY went on out there

Video is long, but he put a good summary in the video description:

We all know that Shedeur Sanders is a hot topic. No matter what you say, people either love him or hate him. For me, I want to see all these guys succeed. I want to see Shedeur succeed, I want to see Dillon Gabriel succeed. I’ve got absolutely no agenda in this whole thing other than wanting these guys to be better. And when I break it down, I’ll tell you what I see, honestly. Hopefully these guys get a chance to see the video and maybe pick up things that can help them get better. That, to me, is my only agenda. I don’t have any other reason to break this stuff down. I am for all of these guys, no matter what I say, and whether you like it or not, I’m for all of them.

So let’s dive in and take a look.

Obviously, we all know it wasn’t the ideal situation. He didn’t get a lot of practice reps, as we’ve already discussed — unfair, abnormal, whatever you want to call it. There are situations where backups get no reps going into a week; sometimes they get a few. Every situation is different.

Overall, I thought he played a really good football game. Sure, clean some things up, make some better throws — all things that I think will improve as he gets more comfortable being thrown in. And we’ve all talked about it: not an easy situation to get thrown into without reps, not expecting to play, and then having to step in and go.

But overall, I thought the decisions he made when opportunities were in front of him were pretty good decisions for the most part. There were a number of plays where there was nothing there, and he still managed to make some positive plays. Throwing the ball away, avoiding sacks — those are things he’ll keep getting better at moving forward.

To me, the stats lie in terms of how I thought Shedeur handled that situation. And I expect this week to be even better

nikkas so thirsty to hate and celebrate the possibility of this nikka failing, shyt is pathetic.

It’s wack that Sanders weirdo stans and consequently haters turned the discussions about his career into wack Angel Reese vs CK like debate. Can’t trust any opinion on dude. Stans started out by swearing he was the biggest talent since Burrow, which made haters respond that he’s :jawalrus:. Which is weird given that they have nothing in common.

Then you have all Sanders friends, including the cats whose shows he’s an extra on. Operating as some type of propaganda machine, while you have a million white supremacists just loving to see a rich cocky black man humbled. Despite him being promoted by the white supremacist in charge, who his father apparently loves. So now when someone says anything negative, they get put in one bag. Something positive they get put in another bag. :russell:

someone says, hey he just needs to work on this. Then they come saying, “well he wouldn’t need to work on it if the league wasnt conspiring against him”
