Is fighting allowed in football?

Do you think there isn't a large group of white people that aren't trying to get fighting OUT of hockey? Do you even watch hockey and know the game? If not, no point having this discussion.

they don't, im not saying i disagree with sherman, but i hate people who don't even watch or know anything about hockey talking about fighting.

staged fights are a joke and the majority of hockey fans want them out, when a dirtbag like matt cooke takes out someone i could care less if he gets pulverized.

Nevertheless, they are both very physical sports that are played with a lot of emotion. One would say it's way more physical & emotional in football. There are cheap shots taken out in football, knees being taken out & fingers broken on purpose, etc. A defensive player can take a cheap shot on a QB & that QB's offensive line will be quick to jump in to defend his teammate. I see no difference

In one sport, fighting is allowed and encouraged. In the other, it's not allowed. I don't understand the link you're trying to make. You seem like you have a problem with the NFL.

This can be turned right around on hockey fans who don't watch football but will still speak their opinions about the sport. How well is that going for that large group of white people that are trying to get fighting out of hockey?

I don't have a problem with the NFL, I have a problem with CACs always wanting it to be one way, but it's the other way lol

The hockey apologist have arrived :pachaha:

White folks 'hate' the fighting aspect in hockey yet it's still part of the game. :rudy:

Even as the league damn near fell apart, fighting wasn't banned to help make things more family friendly.

But thank God they stopped letting those guys wear 6x white tees as they showed up to play a basketball game. :whew:

These the athletes we should be encouraging the younger siblings, nieces, nephews, our own children to follow and cheer for, regardless of your allegiance to a city or team. I won't buy his jersey, but I will get the bootleg versions and donate the price I wouldve paid to his charity, if he has one.

White posters that claim they want equality, and a post-racial america, I have a thought. It wont cure the sickness, but it'll have an impact simply because of your privilege:

Get that Sherman jersey for your people too. and when your friends and associates start that "why you wearing that (insert racial insult) jersey?" talk, you can bring up the great points illustrated in this thread. You may not change everybodys minds, but you'll begin to set yourself apart from the image a lot of us, have of you. You might even force someone to step back, and really consider why they feel/act the way they do
:russ: I thought people looked at me funny when I was wearing my Paul Pierce Celtics jersey, like everyone naturally expects you to wear that Larry Bird shyt :snoop:

there referred to as goons which is the same as a thug

Nah cuz its "were not against goons:smugfavre:" instead of "We are against those thugs!:skip:"....they definitely don't mean goon as a bad thing like when they call us thugs when it comes to sports....but who cares:manny:? but it is great to see Sherman tellin them about theyself and pointing the mirror on these cacs:laff:...much as I would love to build up a outrage like white people do when we involved,i cant even build a fake outrage about MLB and Hockey:mjlol:....I wish we could so we could start a campaign and end fighting, fastballs aimed at heads just to fukk up the viewing pleasure of these cacs with double standards....it would make my day to help make white sports "evolve" while cacs sit back and long for the good ol days where white goons could have harmless fun:bryan:

In one sport, a goon is just a goon. In another sport, a thug and his behavior is indicative of an entire group of people.

fighting has always been apart of hockey, even when the nba was all white and the nfl all white, fighting was not apart of those sports.

I know and understand what sherman is saying, no one is more militant than me, but its somewhat vastly different
