This is exactly what needs to be said and the right way to say it. He's got a platform to say these things now without coming off too preachy. You draw parallels from the public perceptions and free passes associated with the majority, and you compare and contrast with the minority experience...in particular the black experience.

there are rules in baseball as to when a batter can charge the mound after a brush-back, etc

A pitcher can throw a fastball 100 MPH at your dome but I don't think you can charge the mound swinging a bat at their head

"Fighting" in those sports is used as a tactic

If it's not boxing or mma how is fighting in sports that require throwing a ball/hitting a ball and passing and shooting a puck a tactic?
