Yall trying to throw that boy to the fire and have him out the NFL quicker than Vince Young.

Yall acting like the NFL is a D league.

If you don't produce you GET CUT and replaced.

He knows he ain't ready.

Yout acting like folks expecting him to get drafted in the top 10 and have to play immediately NO ONE is expecting him to play Year 1 or Hell maybe even year 2. Why yall keep talking about him getting cut.

He's played THREE fukkING GAMES, an is about to get drafted off of 12 Quarters of football. That's and opportunity NO ONE EVER HAD BEFORE. NO ONE, WHITE, BLACK, ASIAN, ALIEN, LIZARD...ETC...Dude would be a fool to come back.

I know right.

These nikkas acting like an NFL jump is easy after 3 games. :laff:

This ain't the NBA brehs!!! And he's playing the hardest position in sports.

He hasn't even got first team reps all season in COLLEGE.

If he's taken in the 3rd or 4th and doesn't show the NFL teams what they want to see HE WILL BE CUT AND END UP BROKE!!!!

The NFL aint a Developmental league they don't have time for that.

you cats expose yourself and how susceptible you are to nfl qb propaganda

who is better - cardale jones or ryan lindley
who is beter - cardale jones or logan thomas
who is better - cardale jones or drew stanton

how much more tape do you need on this nikka? You need to see him play Minnesota for 2 more years? Nebraska? Northwestern? You don't even realize it, but he just played 2 bowls games (in other words he has as many bowl games under his belt as Jameis).

what is a regular season facing akron or bowling green going to do for him? what is a regular season facing piss poor zone defenses going to do for him?

And while he's riding the bench in those couple years it's a gang of other players on the team he's on that have much more experience in games.

not to mention the trade and draft options the team he will be on will have the years after he's on the team.

And guess who will be the one WAY behind the curve??? The guy who barely played any college ball at all.

Guess what happens to players behind the curve in the NFL??? THEY GET CUT.
Especially considering they only used a third or fourth draft pick on him and his contract will have little investment from the team in guaranteed money.

So unless this nikka picks up the NFL offense at an EXEPTIONAL rate he will be far BEHIND.

I don't know how many times I have to say the NFL teams RARELY if EVER takes time to develop players that they don't have HUGE investments in.
If you can't help them win they are on to the next.

There is literally only one reason he would need to come back, and that's to learn NFL terminology. If OSU had to scale back the playbook for him, that would be the only impediment people would use against him.

And it would be a unfair argument imho.

Better foot speed than Lefty and he doesn't have the wind up in his throwing motion like Lefty did.
lol Leftwich was not half as mobile as Cardale
and i vividly recall analysts always talking about Left's throwing motion. Good catch from a jags fan

I feel like thats why people are saying hes a 2nd or third rounder.

In the NFL if you aint a top 20 pick its not THAT much of an investment because picks after that flame out all the time. As an Eagles fan i can name one recently right off the dome in danny watkins,...another in marcus smith smh

But theres a risk reward factor. Obviously Cardale believes in himself but he himself said these dudes aint in school to attend class but play football. He has played it at the pinnacle and it may be time to take that flyer fam. A 2nd or 3rd rounder isnt too much of an investment given the potential. I'm sure plenty of teams especially an Eagles type which still has the system and another QB on its roster would be willing to bite the bullet and develop him.

If he comes back i can definitely respect it...but he best take out an insurance policy to hedge the risk that his draft stock drops or he gets injured.

it would be IMPERATIVE that he gets drafted to a team with a good culture though. A winning team that prefers to build from the ground up (unlike the redskins) and hasnt been down in the dirt too long (like the Bucs).

Look at the names were mentioning

The Titans gave Jake Locker tons of time
Rams gave Braford tons of time
Blaine Gabbert got a fair deal
Josh Freeman did arguably
Mark sanchez

I can go on

The NFL isnt as impatient as you think

He should take advantage of the moment and enter the draft. He'll probably get drafted in the 3rd-4th round, but have him sit and learn for a few years like Brock Osweiler is doing right now in Denver.

I'm saying! Cats think we're trying to push Cardale Jones as the next Tom Brady. I'm not even willing to put him head to head versus Cam Newton.

But I WILL NOT allow people to push this false narrative that all QB's on an NFL roster deserve to be in the league.

These draft analyst are gonna shyt on cardale because they themselves reached on other draft picks. Nobody told them rate weeden in the first round. Nobody told them to rate ponder in the first round. Nobody told them to rate Jake Locker in the first round. How are you gonna knock the next man for your mistakes? They did it with Kapernick. They did it with Wilson.

C Jones still has work to do to improve his game but he has potential.

This game was won because of Ezekiel Elliot. Dude was unstoppable. Not sure why C Jones is getting so much praise.
while Elliot certainly was the MVP, you cant downplay Cardale either. He showed poise to bounce back from errors and led the offense at the end of the day.

There were various 3rd and 4th down conversions that preceded touchdowns as a result of Cardale whether it was making a pinpoint throw in the pocket, a bomb down the field or trucking over DTs and Linebackers.

Is you stupid nikka. Dude might not be shyt. He just played a three game stretch that will get him drafted, he's dumb if he doesn't leave. You acting like they don't have QB coaches in the NFL.
Ya so. That doesn't mean he's going to be good just because there are qb coaches. He's a day 3 prospect. If he stay one more year, he can be a day one pick. It's not all bout getting paid, it about being a reasonable starting quarterback.
