With this whole thing going on. I rather do it myself and always wanted to anyways. What brand of guards you recommend buying since usually the stock guards feel cheap. I have that Russell Wilson hair, I usually always kept my hair short. This the first time I grown it out, I look like a darker lost DeBarge member with that shyt. It was cool at first but I'm getting tired of all the compliments. I'm low-key, it's annoying.

Cheap Wahls have served me well, I got straight hair though so ymmv. I got oster fast feeds right now but i dont love them. The best guards are Andis magnetics, and they fit most clippers. Whatever clippers you get, make sure to "zero" them. There's lots of YouTube videos that show you how. I actually fade backwards from the top down unlike most of the self cut videos I've watched.

I spent like $40 on some Wahls, like 11 years ago. You’ll probably have to spend a bit more now. I’ve never had a problem with them

Wahl got a set that's $20 on amazon that I liked better than my current $100 fast feeds. That model lasted me a gang of years too. Last time I checked the corona had them sold out though. They're called the wahl color pros. Like the poster above mentioned, avoid wireless models.

Back in MIA
I have the Oster 76 and the 10. Like my 10 better just because it’s smaller and easier to handle.

but I just do a 00000 all the way around so....

also got a “peanut” to line up the face.

In the last 10 years they’ve paid for themselves 100000000000000x over in $$$$ and time at the barber.

$70 on the Andis Superliners
$50 on the Andis T-Outliner
$60 on the Andis Styliner II

$75 on Whal Senior
$55 on Whal 5-Star
