do they let you in if you have drug charges on your record?
it would piss me off that they would cut my hair off tho im trying to get to charmander level of hair game.
i would probably do the minimum 4 years or whatever and save as much money as possible and then gtfo of there.
i heard its racist in there too
I read through the thread first.
So you are in the UK and not the US. I don't know if the British Army is racist or not.

Everyone makes mistakes and a criminal conviction doesn’t have to stop you from joining the Army. Be honest about your past history when you come in for a chat, and we might be able to offer you that all-important second chance.
With the chance to learn a trade and skills that last a lifetime, Army life is a great way to make a fresh start.
Some convictions are forgotten – or ‘spent’ – after a rehabilitation period. The length of this period depends on the offence. You must tell us about any unspent convictions you have. For some jobs you’ll need to tell us about any convictions when you apply, whether spent or not. You need to be honest – if you hide a conviction before joining up, you could be prosecuted later.
For more information and guidance, read the Guidance on the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act
Updating us during your application
At all times during the application process, you need to make sure that you tell us about any changes to your circumstances when it comes to offences. This includes waiting for a court appearance for a criminal offence, for any reason (including jury service) other than as a witness, until the outcome of the hearing is known. This may cause a delay to your application.

also
If you've used drugs in the past, it won't normally prevent you from joining the Army, but after you join, you must not misuse drugs. The Army carries out random, compulsory drugs testing, and if the tests find you have been using drugs, you are highly likely to be discharged.

Go to the role finder. There are a number of non-combat roles where you get training in job that can be used when you get out if that's what you are really looking for. Chef, ship repairer, general fitter. 1,500 pounds a month.and free food and housing. That's the bait, I mean compensation. Look into Army reserves too.

yeah fukk the army on second thoughts. im just sat here applying for jobs and realising i have no skills at all that are applicable to getting hired. its depressing as fukk. i can be happy all day and then as soon as i look for a job depression hits me like a motherfukker. this whole capitalism system is bullshyt and designed to keep people down.

i still dont understand the concept of money. i really try to wrap my head around why these bits of paper are worth more than my life and i havent came up with an answer yet. why is my whole life based around how many bits of paper i can get or how many numbers get digitally put in my accoujnt?

i dont understand why the governemnt cant just put £1,000,000 in everybodys account from day one when they are born. you dont need paper money anymore anyway. so why cant you just put numbers on a screen for everyone? i really dont understand.

Be in the world but not of it. You gotta play the game but keep your mind and emotions out of it. Build yourself up and attack from above.

At least you see thru the matrix and your trying to better yourself to deal with it.

how do you move to london with no money?

thats not gonna go down well. people will think i would spend it on weed :russ:

the money i had from my last job was around £2500. das like $4000. i spent all of it in a couple of weeks aftyer the job finished. and have nothing but sneakers, clothes and a lot of empty weed bags to show for it. @KillahKamn i saw green and forgot all about the richest man in babylon :mjcry:

I know the feel. It's about slowing down and sacrifice. Commit to your bigger picture.

Stop busting metaphorical nuts so early and play for the 25yo pass.

Since we've started talking I'm about to get a job at high quality tattoo studio. It's about persistence, endurance and focus like that new Will Smith movie.

Your sex energy is your life energy. You need to learn to calm yourself. Be present with the moment despite your excess energy. Relaxation is who you are, tension is who your trying to be. This is why your stop and go and frustrated with women. You need the stamina and focus to stay on one thing at a time, even tho there's 1000 distractions. And your life has fallen apart because you can't focus on one thing to completing to get the benefit from it.

Permanent, positive change takes time. Instant gratification will just take you off your path. Focus intently on what and where you want to be by 25 (decent crib, job that pays rent, money for food) and make sure every decision you make is pulling you towards that.

You will waver, but stay disciplined and vigilant. If I can make it this far, you can and man has made it farther. It is persistence that attracts the object of desire. Like carving a statue from stone.

The army will be good for you in that it will teach you self reliance and discipline. It will make you a man and set you off with money in your pocket to start a life. Idk if London has reserves, but they don't send you over seas. Basically I'm going in to get the training, discipline and the money and to get out. Then to use those skills in my business life.

i was focused on boxing and boxing only for like 2 years of my life. i didnt do anything but train and watch boxing. i cut myself off from my friends and everything. das how i got good quickly despite being a late starter. didnt have my first fight til i was 17. and that was just 2 months after i walked in the gym.

if i could box again i could be pro by 25 easily. im 20 now. but i cant get to my gym since i moved out of my moms. so im stuck with nothing to do but look for jobs or eventually start robbing again.

Joining the sent for two years would give you money and skills to start living life properly.

You come out in 2years, age 22 enough for first and last and a few months rent, money for clothes and driving tests, taxis, and gym membership.

Spend the next two years after that training to go pro. And you would have the conditioning and possibly military hand-to-hand training.

Add that to vipassana meditation. You will be a changed and deadly man. Start reading books and I might be scared of you.

It's a good move that I would have made earlier myself and saved me alot if trouble but at that age your only thinking about surviving and p*ssy. I might still join a few years after I get this job.

Stop listening to all these fukk boys telling you not to join on some black militant shyt. Milk that shyt for all its worth. Free college, housing, food, and its a great way to save money. You see my hair in my avi? I have dreads right now and as soon as I drop some weight I'm signing up for the air force. It's fukking hair bro it can grow back. Join the Air Force if you can and get into IT or contract work. Navy, army, marines and even the air force are all what you make of it. Hell my friend joined the marines and his job was an electrician. He did 6 years got out and makes great money. Life is what you make of it. I feel you on that job struggle shyt.
