I work for a company who's stock is looking like the grand canyon - dropped 60% the past month. Naturally, in a recession people are going to stop taking loans and interest rates are going down.

I havent taken a single vacation day and I got like 20 left. What's the move here?

Get paid for sick/vacation days. Discuss your severance package & see if you can negotiate the terms ($/length of time) though the standard is 3 mos salary & 8 - 12 weeks. Also, in addition you will be eligible for unemployment payouts since you might be involuntarily laid off with no return date. If you can help it & have another gig lined up, roll over your 401k vs cashing out. Work until the end.

Take the money and dip if you really think there's no coming back.

Vacation time is usually accrued on a monthly basis. Which means you would have to work the entire year to get the 20 days of vacation. Being that this is only March you may have only accrued around 6 days. If you take more vacation time than you've accrued then quit, they can take it out of your last check. Check with your HR.
