What about the guys that go around getting women pregnant on purpose? They can just get them pregnant then be like "I don't want to take care of the kid bye"

While I sort of agree, men in the community already run away. This wouldn't I think cause a huge uptick any higher than it already is, but a man who is opting out
now can't be pursued in court.

Its just anecdotal, but for a lot of the single mothers I have known, many did not pursue child support, so in essence, the same thing this law would accomplish is already
playing out for us. Especially if you are dealing with a man of modest income, there are many instances where there isn't much to be gained anyway. We would imagine
that most black folks who have the time and inclination to pursue child support, or the money worth being pursued, aren't the same ones having kids they don't want willing nilly.

True. I can just see men using this as a get out of jail free card. Those men "worth being pursued" don't need to be cautious anymore. They can fukk anyone and run. A woman can only create one (usually) child at a time. Men on the other hand who are already inclined to "sow their oats" can impregnate limitless women. If their is no consequence for action what would be the motivation not to do it. Again, I am not taking about the bums who are doing it anyway. I am talking about the ones who are more responsible currently. What's now the motivation to be responsible?

What if the law stated the man has to pay for the abortion?

Yes, it takes a certain progressiveness to even consider this law.
Congress is 80% male, 80% white but it is 92% Christian. I just doubt it's devout Christians. I mean is there a downside for men in this situation? Women have the babies, women need to be responsible. Allow women the tools and knowledge to be responsible and control their reproductive system.

Nah. The claim is that this makes things "equal" but it really doesn't.

Getting an actual abortion procedure is a much more difficult and dangerous experience than signing a paper saying you don't want the child.

This puts women in a very tough position of either go through a very difficult medical procedure, or raise a kid by theirself. While the man just gets to walk free.

This isn't equality. Unfortunately due to nature, equality is unachievable on this subject.

Do you understand what the fukk a scenario is? Obviously this Congress wouldn't ever consider this law. Stop it :heh:

Pretty much. Like I said I like the law in principle, but implementing it so as not to give men an obtuse amount of power (which let's face it most dudes would abuse) is likely impossible.

I think you're wrong. I don't know why you guys think abortion is like popping an aspirin and it's something done at the drop of a hat. More women than not would rather have the baby and deal with it on their own than go around and get abortions. Happens everyday. I think the numbers of unwanted children (by men) would drop but then you have a whole generation of men who never had a father and also don't think they need to be a father themselves. That's the generation we expect to be good fathers right? I could go on and on by this isn't a good thing but ya'll think it's great so I'll let ya'll have it. You guys really can't see the agenda behind this? Oh well.
Same dudes who wanna quote single mother statistics, and talk about "the black family structure" wanna legalize being a deadbeat :wow:
