I honestly think this comment sums up how dumb many males arguments are in this situation.

Only men being held accountable = men having to financially support a child that they admittedly created while the mother 9 times out of 10 physically, emotionally, and financially supports the child. Men are literally only being held accountable for a third of the responsibilities it takes to raise a child, but they are so coddled and spoiled as a gender even that is too much if it isn't 100% on their terms and their terms alone.

You read threads like this and it just makes you sick because some of us do all this work in the community and its scumbags like this who pollute the next generations minds to keep up the bad habits you're trying to erase.

Yes, the laws aren't gender specific. If a woman doesn't take care of her responsibilities with a child, she could be jailed.
