Who’s that white Lady? :lupe:

Awesome.

You can always tell how much Shannon loves Sterling and has wanted this for him for the longest time. It's absurd it's taken this long for him to get it. I genuinely do not understand how he wasn't already inducted.

Man I am so happy for Sterling

You can't have a Hall of Fame without Sterling Sharpe!

He dominated the game when he played

So happy :to:

I don't want to drag other players into this discussion, but Sharpe is the type of player I love seeing get in. Someone who had an elite peak and prime. Not someone who was "very good" for a long period of time. The HOF should be for the elite of the elite, and it just got stronger.

It can get tricky when you have people voting for players they didn't see play. That the part thats tough. If I am a voter and a player is on the ballot that played in the 60s where is my context for his greatness coming from?

If you watched Sterling you knew that he was an All Timer when you watched him

If you dominated when you played you're a HOFer

Compiling but not dominating does not make you a HOFer

I agree it gets difficult when it comes to players you didn't see or didn't see a lot of their career. However, for someone like Sharpe that was a three time FIRST-TEAM all-pro at a valuable position, was a three time receptions leader, and two time receiving TD leader, that should say enough.
