Should this teacher get fired? (starts to give a student that work)

It is a shame that the teacher is likely to be fired over this. It is obvious from her actions on the video and the interviews with her family that the girl is a serious problem.
The thing is a lot of these girls in schools in the hood are worse than the boys and will swing on anyone (teachers, other students, security guards) in a second but then everybody gets all "But what about the children!!!" when the adult decides they have had enough and puts hands on their rotten little asses.
When I worked at an inner city school it was crazy to see how much quicker to violence the girls were.

Saw shyt like this happen twice during my time in HS. I'm surprised shyt didn't happen more. The girls were always the worst I remember a group of em ganged up on this sub who would regularly sit in on the class cause the original teacher was old as shyt and would be out often. She got zero respect and had a nervous twitch. Lil bytches threw a trashcan at her, poured lotion in her hair and called her all types of names. Went on for half the school year before she was never seen again. 
I was a problem child myself, almost had fights with a few teachers.
Had a former Col. from the air force try to get at me. He was the JROTC instructor and i got put out of the class. So when I would see him in the hall way i would bump to him on purpose just so I could flex on him. I was ready for war with htat nikka , but looking back on it now. nikka would have DESTROYED me!
Now as an adult, I def would have beat the shyt out of a child if they tried that shyt on me.

As a teacher you are supposed to defuse the situation. Not rush the student like a worldstar video.
If no one told you this was teacher VS student you would think that this was two students. The teacher showed absoutely no signs of maturity or authority. The girl probably continuously acts up cause adults like this in her life.

Fire dat ass!You can't let adolescents get under your skin to the point your hair-pulling.
Being an adult she should've tamed the situation wayyyy before it got to this level.. call the principal, or even the damn janitor just so youd have another adult there. She should just resign and go be a juvy CO, then she could fight all the teens she wants.. shyt was totally CORNY she prolly was trying to fukk on the tall breh breaking up the fight.

You should always have the right to protect yourself. Teacher should be suspended but not fired.
The girl who threw the book probably won't get expelled, so why should the teacher get fired.
Shyt burns me up because I used to see this in middle and high school all the time and the kids would always come back. How can you expect the other kids to be able to get a relatively adequate education when problem students like this get no discipline or fear of long term consequences.

The teacher was not protecting herself. She was mad and lost control.
By acting out how she did it only reinforces the bad behavior from the kid. She showed her that this is how you act when you are angry/frustrated. Had she handled it in a calm reasonable manner the kid might have learned a lesson.

I believe teachers should act in self defense. If you put your hands on a teacher, that is open season for a ass whopping. I was in high school when a kid (he was just bad) put his hands on my English teacher and she flipped his ass. One minute he was on his feet, the next....feet in the air, the next minute back was on the ground, I was impressed. Older white lady put in the business. They interviewed all of us who were in the class room. I told the principle I didn't know what incident he was talking about. Told me the other kids said I was in the room, I said yes, I was in the room doing school work.
Was the only one who didn't say shyt because he put his hands on her first and thought he deserved it. After that day, school went really smooth until graduation.

I tell you, having a student strike me is my BIGGEST fear because I can't guarantee that the hood in me won't prevail over the professionalIts hard enough not going straight
when they mouth off. We're human beings with feelings, we have a limit just like everyone else. People think that we're that should have no problem taking abuse and disrespect.

did you watch the video?? The teacher was on the phone calling security to remove her...then the student proceeded to throw a book at the teacher.
she should get suspended but not terminated...that child is an embarrassment to her family.
