How many of y'all actually grew up in the hood? I know from the way we used to be I cant even blame the teacher. These lil niglets be pushing you to the breaking point, and as soon as you say something they trying to curse you out or fight you. That shyt is hard, and when you combine that with parents and administrators that feel the child is never wrong that shyt becomes an uphill battle.

mann I went to school in the hood and seen crazier shyt than this... teachers getting beat w/ book bags, woman teacher almost getting snuffed out by a male student, and wayyy more. In every situation the teacher(s) defended themselves by BLOCKING and DODGING not STRIKING BACK and HAIR PULLINGonce you go at teen your automatically wrong and totally lost your authority. This teacher has a child like ego, "I'LL fukkING KILL YOU IN HERE bytch, WHAT YOU THINK THIS IS!?"
and now listening to the video again I don't think this is an actually teacher, looks and sounds more like a recent college grad that got a temp substitute gig.

Most of y'all must not deal with students on a daily bases. These kids are getting more and more disrespectful by the day. With administration not doing anything most of the time. A lot of teachers have no back up. I am sure this isn't the first time the teacher had a problem with the girl. Yet she was still in her class. I have heard about kids getting in teachers faces, the teacher going to the Asst. principle and child still being in the class. Then you try to talk to the parent and you can't tell them anything about their child. They curse you out.

Parents want to say, you are the adult, but aren't teaching the child their place. Not teaching them to respect adults or people in charge of them. Throwing a book? That goes beyond what use to be a kid talking back or not being quite. What if it would have injured her? Teachers deal with a lot, I hear about it all the time. Its not the teachers job to raise a child for the parent, you are just an example. Kids have no home training.

Saw shyt like this happen twice during my time in HS. I'm surprised shyt didn't happen more. The girls were always the worst I remember a group of em ganged up on this sub who would regularly sit in on the class cause the original teacher was old as shyt and would be out often. She got zero respect and had a nervous twitch. Lil bytches threw a trashcan at her, poured lotion in her hair and called her all types of names. Went on for half the school year before she was never seen again.

I was a problem child myself, almost had fights with a few teachers.

Had a former Col. from the air force try to get at me. He was the JROTC instructor and i got put out of the class. So when I would see him in the hall way i would bump to him on purpose just so I could flex on him. I was ready for war with htat nikka , but looking back on it now. nikka would have DESTROYED me!


Now as an adult, I def would have beat the shyt out of a child if they tried that shyt on me.

She threw a book at the teacher. fukk ALL THAT! She deserved that ass whopping. Obviously no one at home is disciplining her. "Send your best child to school" If thats your best then you fukking FAILED. I bet that lil girl will think twice about bucking at a grown ass woman. They are going to fire the teacher but I hope she lands on her feet somewhere. But thats what you get for trying to teach the young black inner city students; a book upside your head.

As a teacher you can't be letting your temper flare like that.

So when someone thats your height and nearly your weight throws a pen at you, shoves a chair at you, verbally curses you out and then follows up with throwing a book at you, you keep your temper in check? She would've been looking for her teeth after the pen got thrown.

Back in the day even the school bus driver could beat your ass. My school bus driver used to pull over and beat nikkas with a bullwhip and it was cool. Just the way it was. In school you were popped with rulers and yardsticks. This was the early 90s by the way. Corporal punishment fell by the wayside somewhere around then, probably due to white NIMBYs and yuppies, and now you have these out of control half faq, ratchet shyttles. Once you hit a teacher unprovoked the teacher should have the right to throw your ass out of the window. The youth of today need to be sent to labor camps and forced to build electronics or transit buses. This is something I've actually thought about since high school. Put these kids in forced labor.

Lol at the aunt remarking that she feels some kind of way and teachers should be role midels.
fukk your feelings. Your brat is 17.
If she hasn't found a role model and learned how to act by now, she never will.
By 17-18, you're not a child who doesn't know how to act in school.

The teacher should be suspended without pay for 2 weeks but should not be fired.

The thing that gets me is the family trying to shift accountability.

The student threw the book <------this is where accountability starts. It doesn't start with the teacher's reaction.

Even though the teacher was very unprofessional, it was reactionary to the student starting shyt.

The kid is damn near grown, there ain't no being a role model to her unless she wants it. She's at the stage where she is responsible for her own damn decisions. I think the teacher was wrong, but at the same time, the teacher is dealing with grown woman who threw a book at her. This is in the middle of B-more too? Hell naw.

At my old high school(private school) a teacher got into a physical altercation with a student and wasn't fired.


My basketball coach also almost got into a fight with a guy on the team who was upset with his playing time after we lost on the road.
I was literally 5 feet away.
That bald headed nikka was a loose cannon and should gave been fired, but he simply lost his coaching duties.
nikka kicked off his loafers and unbuttoned his dress shirt.
"You think you ready for this?! You think you raw?!"

Backed the kid into the locker and the assistant coach got in between them.
Kid was crying and was only 15, so that shyt was disgusting.
School kept it under wraps but son should have been let go completely, not demoted to gym class duty.


The baseball coach who was white was rolling around in the dug out with a 17 year old player in a headlock and somehow avoided those papers and kept his job.
That school was great academically but those white folks looked out for those sports programs and the coaches above all else.
People think charter schools are safe havens but I saw and dealt with more outrageous shyt there than I ever did at any public school.

So the girl threw a book at the teacher. The teacher is trying to get her removed from class. The student is antagonizing the teacher and she had enough. While you shouldn't put your hands on a student I understand why she did. Some teenagers feel that they are grown and need to be handled. It should have been a parent to have done it but you get your lessons when you can. The teacher was a tad bit too ready to go in on old girl so she will probably lose her job. If the student would have initiated the fight she would have a much better chance of keeping her job.
