So what is your solution to deal with these "terrors"? Kick them out of school and expedite their transition into the prison industrial complex?

:stopitslime:

Listen, I'm not one of those who don't give a fukk. Believe me, I have gone above and beyond because I truly want to. Don't get it twisted, I care deeply. However, the reality is this. The average public school is not equipped to handle the severe emotional issues and deep poverty that plagues quite a few inner city students. If we had those resources, then maybe we can work with something. Instead, teachers are told to be cursed out, threatened, and assaulted (I've witnessed all three) with no real solutions. I'm sorry, I'm not going to absolve anyone from continuously displaying atrocious behavior. There comes a point in time where it has to stop.

Unless I have you all wrong, what you're telling me is students who want to learn should have to just deal with a kid who loves calling his classmates and teacher every ungodly name in the universe. What do you suggest?

Make the student see the school counselor weekly, have the counselor set guidelines and if the student continues to act up let them know that they will be expelled. The students that used to act up in my HS were sent to continuation school, not UFC fights with the teachers.

I'm personally against the teacher's response in the video, but to your suggestion, a teacher would be laughed at and possibly admonished for sending a child to the front office too often, let a lone to the guidance counselor. Teachers in many Title I schools have no real recourse to handle problem students.

Counselors in urban schools are often taken away from their counseling duties and are made to perform more administrative tasks. Additionally, at the high school level, the counselors focus mostly on academic advising and college counseling.

Our schools definitely need to focus on the mental health of our students though.

These kids are too fukking crazy these days to deal with. Salute to all the teachers fighting the good fight and willing to still teach this generation. Most of these kids ain't shyt because the parents ain't shyt, I would be shipped off to haiti in a box if I ever thought about fighting my teacher, let alone get that disrespectful with them.

:camby:Fire dat ass!

You can't let adolescents get under your skin to the point your hair-pulling. :mindblown:
Being an adult she should've tamed the situation wayyyy before it got to this level.. call the principal, or even the damn janitor just so youd have another adult there. She should just resign and go be a juvy CO, then she could fight all the teens she wants.. shyt was totally CORNY she prolly was trying to fukk on the tall breh breaking up the fight.

Did you not see the teacher on the phone calling security when she was attacked by that student? :comeon:

I understand how the prison industrial complex screws over our black youth BUT some of ya'll suburban brothas/sistas who didn't grow up in the hood don't even have the slightest idea how bad it gets in some of those classes. Some of those kids will not hesitate to knock you the fukk out BEST case scenario.(Worst case getting stabbed/hit/beaten with an object)

I don't blame the teacher for what she did, she even was on the phone with security. In the past they would smack the living shyt out of you with those hard ass rulers for talking out of turn and paddling was common and regularly encouraged for unruly children.

I salute the teachers that have to put up with bullshyt ass kids, especially my black brothas and sistas trying to be a role model for these misguided children. If that student tried that shyt on me I would walk up to her ass like

Me: :jawalrus:Ah you think the hood is your ally? You merely adopted the hood. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the suburbs until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding!

The hood betrays you, because it belongs to me. :demonic:*crack her back*

:rudy: @ "Dey admit she possibly threw a book at da teacher and has been involved in other altercations but..."

And notice no father interview. Da female relatives could hardly put together a coherent sentence. :snoop:

OR mother interview, just Aunt & Grandma. :what:

That :demonic:girl probably comes from a broken home, that's a red flag itself...

the problem is the family are fukkin losers

look at the video and the family members

all you hear is them commenting on the teacher

and not the student

this is why it's fukked up and these kids need to be put in line

if my son ever does shyt like this in the future, i would say he deserved it for throwing a book at the teacher

even though i know the teacher's in the wrong

nah fukk it who am i kiddin

i'd be talkin mad shyt and get paid off that lawsuit

i'm riiiiich biiiiitch
