How???So yall really think Punk is some kind of beast over here huh?
Punk did all the skrate edge image shyt and the very scripted pipebomb that actually worked on smarks...lmao. What happened when punk ran with the belt for over a year? People was tired of his ass about 4 months into that. Then he complained like WWE aint make him a multi time champion. Like he had to struggle like Mark Henry or something. They gave this nikka the ball due to internet nerds and told him...."do you fam" and the shyt failed. As much as people chant for punk when he was gone, I remember bum ass matt hardy was getting chants to come back. Alot of punks appeal was that people actually thought the McMahons were actively screwing with him. People actually believe Mr. McMahon is a real character.
Nah....Yes movement had another year at most without Bryan getting hurt. Who knows, Bryan vs Rollins would've been good money, but Bryan sucked on the mic as a heel.An interesting subtopic is imagine if Punk would have been used to/or reached his fullest potential during his WWE prime. He was big but could have been so much bigger.
For example, I feel that Bryan peaked and wasn't going to get much bigger than his YES movement, though he could have been at the same height for at least another 3-4 years easily. Punk, on the other hand, never really reached his potential as an overall superstar and it's a damn shame.

Didn't when they were in the same company thoMaybe so in your opinion.... and I respect that.....
But he's still shown a lot more variety in his moveset and style than DB in his E run![]()

Despite winning the company's inaugural Survival of the Fittest tournament in 2004, championship gold eluded him. In 2005, Danielson announced in the company's newsletter, the ROH Newswire, that he had quit ROH after being frustrated by his inability to defeat Austin Aries for the ROH World Championship. It was later revealed Danielson had become frustrated in general with professional wrestling and planned to take some time off to evaluate his career options.[23] Danielson had several dates booked in Europe and Japan, however, leading fans to believe that the periodical was likely a storyline claim for Danielson's absence during this period. In May 2005, rumors started that Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) was interested in signing Danielson, and he also had some more tryout matches with WWE at that time, but none of these events led to anything and he remained in ROH.[3]

AmDrag was not on no damn undercardWHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I was waiting for you or some one to say this!!!
I BEEN had this chess move set up and reason I aint release it earlier!!! Like I legitimately had something similar to this typed but deleted.
Yea when they was in the same, while AA was main eventing with Low Ki and Punk and Joe and Nigel, being the best in the company and world as champ.... DB was fighting on the undercard

He Main evented the first ever ROH show and many since then
And yeah he got the belt after Punk bounced, while aries went to TNA and straight up FLOPPED
Aries had that boy contemplating leaving ROH (maybe kayfabe maybe not... but equivalent to losing smiles)
I dont mean to demean dudes accomplishments and yes he did a few.... but at that time it was kinda like on the level of HHH being the champ and Raw main events be some shyt like New Day vs Uso's and Reign
Or back in the early days of Raw when say Hogan or Bret was champ and the main event for the show be Razor Ramon vs 123 Kid..... I mean I guess it counts.
Yes his first run in TNA wasnt that good, but we all know thats due to bad booking ala how badly booked Punk and DB were early on. But these 3 guys are very talented and in the end they proved everyone wrong and rose to the top like the great wrestlers they are![]()
Imo aries was up there but punk aj and bryan were better
Punk never even hit his peak i legit dont see anything higher for bryan then wrestlemania 30
Nah....Yes movement had another year at most without Bryan getting hurt. Who knows, Bryan vs Rollins would've been good money, but Bryan sucked on the mic as a heel.
I don't see how people wouldn't have gotten bored with that. Roman likely would've had am easier road to the top if Bryan was still around. Could've had him team with Brayn, make Dean heel (which uses to be his natural Joker-like vibe) and been a come up feud for the broken up Shield members.
But the Yes Movement wasn't as strong as ya'll think w/o Bryan being the victim. Hard to make a victim out of the champ.
But agree with OP, Punk built the house Bryan got to live in, and could've made into a mansion if he stayed healthy.
He was, off screen, a victim of his size and perception from that. Kayfabe, he was a victim of the machinations of the authority. That's what I was saying. It's not even a knock on DB as that was higher than anyone in the last decade.
I do.... People love to chant shyt
Add in the fact that he was so damn talented in the ring, and people would have still rocked with it for a long time. We see how much what? has taken over, 12-13 years since Austin was active.
On a personal note, outside of it looking cool when the entire arena is on board doing it, I never really was a fan of it. Personally I think he relied on just saying yes way too much promo wise. It felt like most of the time he was basically him just waiting to do the chant.
What do you mean by being the victim
He was, off screen, a victim of his size and perception from that. Kayfabe, he was a victim of the machinations of the authority.
You proved my point a bit. Yes has no real meaning, other than rooting for the underdog or Bryan. What has a meaning, whether it's "wrap that shut up", homage to Austin, contempt for the speaker, or boredom. When a chant has meaning, it lasts a lot longer.
People were likely to start breaking away from the pack as you were, cause when something becomes over that has no meaning, people start hating it, and the performer may have had great matches, but his promo game ducked as well as I don't see how he could stay moving storyline wise to keep up THAT amount of adoration.
How did Aries flop in TNA?AmDrag was not on no damn undercard![]()
