Should we acknowledge that CM Punk's accomplishments and 'trailblazing' is being erased because.....

Low Key..... as much as cats love to claim when he was in the E that DB was the best wrestler on the roster when in reality it was really CM Punk during that time:sas2:

and more reality at worst he was the 3rd or 4th best in the world as I'd say AJ and Aries was better:lolbron:

Punk trailblazed for sure, but his attitude always made it hard to promote him. Just too much of a liability to promote unlike Bryan who was very respected backstage.

if you good enough, Vince really doesn't care how bad your attitude is, Pat Patterson on the record saying HBGOAT was hell to work with in the 90's, dude was yell and shove Vince, but was still headlining Manias :wow:

Better wrestler yet he outworked and SCHOOLED Punk at Over The Limit 2012 and MITB 2013. Two different style matches and Bryan had the crowd on their feet.

So yall really think Punk is some kind of beast over here huh? :scust:

Punk did all the skrate edge image shyt and the very scripted pipebomb that actually worked on smarks...lmao. What happened when punk ran with the belt for over a year? People was tired of his ass about 4 months into that. Then he complained like WWE aint make him a multi time champion. Like he had to struggle like Mark Henry or something. They gave this nikka the ball due to internet nerds and told him...."do you fam" and the shyt failed. As much as people chant for punk when he was gone, I remember bum ass matt hardy was getting chants to come back. Alot of punks appeal was that people actually thought the McMahons were actively screwing with him. People actually believe Mr. McMahon is a real character.

I mean... no discredit to DB.... but the reason I put AA up a little higher is because he could or has shown he can do more stuff with more people and adjust better than what I've seen DB do in the E.

Prime example.....

A lot of DB's matches since he's "a little guy" he always played the little guy role vs bigger opponents with a "stick and move" offense. He never went at them power for power like that and he didnt really do too much aerial. He mainly did a lot of ground work, submissions, kicks, that average ring dive, a drop kick or 2, and the knee.

But with Aries.... he did pretty much all the same but when need, if he fought against smaller guys like him.... he'd show his athleticism doing all the "flippy shyt" (I mean one of his finishers is a 450 splash). He showed more tape of him being able to work that style seamlessly..... I mean no disrespect but a 450 Splash is more impressive and higher degree of difficulty than a half jump headbutt.

When it came to power, he showed he was something that had to be accounted for and respected in the ring. Not only was he suplexing and slamming much bigger opponents. His other finisher was a freaking Brainbuster, and he convincingly got cats up in in and executed it perfect. And when I say bigger opponents I mean like Samoa Joe, Bully Ray, 6'4 270lbs Jay Bradley, Doc Gallows, and a few other bigger opponents.

I dont think I've ever seen DB pick up a big guy like Kane or Sheamus and when he did, they did the "big guy little guy spot" where the little guy tries to pick up the big guy but struggles and the big guy hits him.

I'm not calling DB weak.... I honestly "other than the knowledge that he kicks hard" dont know how strong he is. But I dont recall seeing him show any feats of strength in the E.

And them of course he has his submission and his technical shyt.

DB is that dude... and definitely has talent....... but Aries has shown a lot more. Maybe its just cuz in the E Vince forces cats to hold back..... but just going off the "tape" it is what it is. Guys like Punk and Bryan had to have either several finishers or basic ones that can be applied to anyone of any style. Aries could just simply due his normal finishers to anyone no matter if they weighed 120lbs or 300+lbs

Hell I wanna even say I believe Aries once hit Abyss with the Brainbuster:wow:
