Nah fam I'm saying he's too old! Craig can barely play Bond anymore, hence giving it up. So why would they hire someone who is 4 years away from where Craig is right now.
I'd expect the next Bond to be in the 35-40 year range.

The action scenes 50 years ago and now aren't comparable.
Idris trains Muy Thai and literally stared in Hobbs and shaw. Jason Straham is im his mid 50s and still kicking strong. Idris is younger than Daniel Craig and an actual martial artist lmfao
All that is irrelevant to comparing the Connery era to now.
You want a black Bond, that's cool, but Idris is too old to begin a role that's gonna last 15 years.

I don't want a black James Bond. Create an original, better character if you want an alternative to a super spy flick. As far as a new James Bond, Henry Cavill could probably do it.
Diamonds Are Forever, For Your Eyes Only, Octop*ssy, A View To A Kill, and Die Another Day were the worst Bond movies because their actors were way too old to be believed as fit spies that can cause damage.
Prime age would be 32-37 for a 5 film run and bourne-style training to go with it.
Props all day to Idris but he is 15 years too late tbh...
Roger Moore was almost 60 in A Living Daylights and him running up the steps was just sad....
Can't see Idris go out like that brehs...

First takes a bit to get rolling but gets good. I never watched the next seasons.
Really good show that unfortunately takes years between seasons now that Elba is more famous. I’m surprised that they didn’t go the movie route sooner if it meant less delays between seasons.
