Really good show that unfortunately takes years between seasons now that Elba is more famous. I’m surprised that they didn’t go the movie route sooner if it meant less delays between seasons.
I'll catch up tonight. I watched 1 episode and turned it off.

No he isn't.

Is over for him. He showed every bit of late 40s in Suicide Squad....

He'd be starting much later than Moore. At most he would get 1 or 2 movies max. Could he do it? Yeah, but the Bond Production team is looking for longevity and most actors don't want to get brutalized this late in life....

Roger Moore was almost 60 in A Living Daylights and him running up the steps was just sad....

Can't see Idris go out like that brehs...

Living Daylights was Timothy Dalton, but I know what you mean.

I'm one of the biggest Bond fans there is, but real talk, the essence of his character might no longer jive in this era.

I almost feel like they should go in a different direction tonally for whatever new actor they bring in. Not late Moore/Brosnan over the top shenanigans and not the Bourne identity hand to hand, close shaky cam, parkour shyt, but something that establishes and differiates the franchise altogether while still keeping the core of the character there. A black James Bond would do that, but I'm not so sure they should do a black James Bond, I'd rather just see a black super spy movie rather than spin the characters race. I was geeked about Tenet, but that fell flat. I'm not opposed to that, I just think it's lazy.

I don't know what arcs there are to tell anymore that would be interesting yet, realistic, and relevant. The world is going digital, most spies now are just copying documents onto a USB drive.

Whatever route they take, my vote is for Luke Evans, but he'll be at least 45 by the time a new film comes out, so who knows...

shyt was ass as fukk. :dame:

I'm saying tho.... Bond defeating armys, with a chick and a baby in the backseat, manages 2 kill everybody and they mama, gets shot 4 times yet he still manages to climb stairs, open missile doors, climb a latter, talk 4 another 10 minutes and yet the only thing that could kill him was the island blowing up. Not to mention the bombs. nikka survived damn near 4 bombs :dwillhuh:

The cars made no sense........ A Aston Martin in the deep woods of Norway. Really :stopitslime:

The plot with the villain was wack
Who was he? How did he manage to kill a whole organization? Why did he want them dead? What was his reasons? :usure:

I mean it was kinda enjoyable but :francis:

Yeah, I was typing out A View To A Kill but I was thinking about Timothy Dalton at the same time since both films were only 2 years apart.

Even since the Brosnan Bonds, he, M, and MI-6 have said he is a dinosaur of the Cold War Era.

I agree, a change is needed, nothing camp but a little less Wick/Bourne. A nice balance in the digital world...
