Jay Rock - Hood Gon Love It

Song was dope but it was before Kdot really became a huge artist and people didn't know about it until it was on GTA5 years after it already came out.

Felt like that track would've put Jay Rock where he is now sooner if it came out just a year or so after it did.

2001 was huge but that album didn't really blow up until "Forgot About Dre." "Still D.R.E." is one of the GOAT beats but for whatever reason, that single wasn't a smash. That'll always be shocking to me.

"We Right Here" was classic DMX but people must have been burnt out on him by then or something. That was one of his best singles and it kinda came and went.

"still dre" wasn't anything spectacular.:yeshrug:

I think "we right here" was more of a warmup single. "who we be" came out next and was a big hit.
DMX was slowing down at that point too. not quite the same fire.

Drake and 2Chainz "Big Amount". A phenomenal song that I barely heard on the radio and mostly heard in strip clubs
