Broken English /Broken Language should have blown up
but terrible video for the song.......one of the best songs I've ever heard
"the Nautica wearer"
Lil Wayne- A milli
surprised this didnt make more noise, both were on top of hip hop and r&b respectively at the time
U didn't rock with Lighters Up?the last lil kim song I rocked with...50 really could do no wrong in those days....wasn't it 50's pettiness the reason a video was never made?
don't fall for the revisionist history, brethren.
Aaliyah was never at the top of r&b. not even in the conversation.
song did alright considering this wasn't anything spectacular and they both had big hits out that summer.
Ghost's Wizard of Poetry. That's ish was like 13 singles
This is so true about Aaliyah. I was working in Circuit City when she passed and that album she had only sold because of her passing. Was collecting dust on the shelf for the longest.
surprised this didnt make more noise, both were on top of hip hop and r&b respectively at the time
This should have been a smash. Heck this would be a hit if it was released today. Pharrell's solo is so slept on, especially since "Number One" with Ye didn't blow.
this is the song that spawned this thread
Retro: A+ - All I See
yes this was a hit, but it should've been way bigger. it should've been an all-time anthem for kids & early teens.
put him with Michael bivins or Jermaine dupri, and A+ gets a platinum single & possibly a platinum album out of this.
FLAWLESS TRACK. fresh, cutting edge & extremely-relatable concept that none of the previous kid rappers had touched on.
and despite a perfect A+ performance by A+, he still managed to kinda get outshined by Shakira Atily. you really cant ask for more.
50 cent- Ayo technology. JT on the hook. Timbo with the beat. I thought for sure that was 50 come back song.
should have been bigger than it was, had all the elements...album was slept on too
