There are rumblings in OTAs about Austin Pleasants and surprisingly Spencer Burford playing well at Tackle.
Also Nick Martin is going to start as a rookie, he already looks bigger and stronger than when he was drafted. He could be another Dre Greenlaw. They say his speed is off the charts and he already has good instincts.
I think Jordan Watkins is going to get snaps if not crack the starting lineup. I think a lot of the 2025 draft class is going to play or make the roster.

The Greenlaw comps for Martin seem too good to be true but man if he’s even close to that it would be huge. I keep gracing to remind myself that we got 0% of Dre last year pretty much do even if Martin doesn’t perform at that level right away, which is a huge ask, whatever we get from him is still gonna be better then last season.
I know on tiktok all I hear about is how easy our schedule is but besides injuries what cost us the most last year imo was Nick Sorenson. He didn’t know what he was doing and cost us games last year. Just ditching him and getting Saleh back is going to be huge

Jaire Alexander just got released by the Packers (cap casualty) and we should sign him full stop. Our CB room is very young and we could use a veteran in his prime. Give him a Paraag special and go from there.
Willis was better against the run, Warner is better in pass coverage
Bowman is slightly better then Willis in my opinion, damn that knee injury

Shouldn't be following offseason news brehs, when you are that burned out it's better to just detox for a while and just check back in when the season is about to start. I've been there before.
I generally tune it out.
but like... we did nothing for OLine, paid the QB to try and stay alive behind a porous line, paid the TE to continue being a 6th OLineman as a result and at last check the entire top of the WR depth chart is currently hurt. The RB room is lesser for having lost Mason and CMC is on washed-watch. We still use a FB for some reason in 2025.
We better HOPE we a defensive team this year. Because this shyt is a dumpster filled with old newspaper liberally coated in lighter fluid. We a bad spark away from this whole bytch goin up, and we ain't even ran a pretend play yet.

I just hope Kyle realizes you cant live in the past...and tries to reinvent some shyt on offense. but considering with how they brought back saleh they just will stick with what they know
that said as a huge football fan I genuinely get excited for new seasons of NFL no matter how good the Niners are. They stilkl should be fighting for offs with this schedule this year and next year they will have good money to spend on free agents.
I also like to see young hungry talent growing up. thats what I'll be focused on this season.

I 100% get it and I don't expect much of anything from the offense but my point was that if you stayed out of news from the offseason you wouldn't know about the OL and you'd be back with a bunch of new guys on defense that Saleh gonna try to shape up.I generally tune it out.

And Kyle, well, at the very least it's gonna be interesting seeing if having less management responsibilities and an OC will let him cook something new for the offense after it became apparent that his formula ran its course and the whole league knows how to deal with it (because half the league runs it nowadays, lol).
I don't expect much in terms of winning or being a good team but there's enough stuff to keep my interest for a while at least.
And I'm already prepared to not put any thought on the Purdy conversations with the OL we gonna trot out there
