Marriage isn't for everyone....I decided it wasn't for me years ago.

There's a certain type that's constantly in relationships, in commitments, and gets married. I'm not that type.

And I'll never have a family...the older I get the more I find families, their kids, and their attitudes once they have kids to be the epitome of obnoxious and annoying. I don't want nor need kids in my life...that's a female trait to want to have kids and want to get married.

I make $7,232/month here in Chicago.", not balling, but I'm not broke, on the way to hit 30 soon.

If I had to pay child support for one kid, here in Illinois, my monthly payment would be $1,400.

That's a mortgage payment, just for one kid.

Imagine if the judge told me I still had to pay the mortgage on the house I couldn't live in, or if I had 2 kids.

I've worked in family law court have you? dudes making 25k a year having to pay 300 a month for child support for 2 kids you think that doesn't affect you if your making little?

I actually did work at a family court one summer as an intern because of my mom but I don't get the point of your question? I guess you were trying to trump me on knowledge or something? You might still have more knowledge though just thought it was funny you were trying to trump me and thought it would be an automatic no to your question. As far as the money I don't think it affects you because I know people making a little bit more than that but paying something similar but I see no changes. That's one person though but all the people I know on CS aren't living under a bridge or dancing for food money so I feel they are ok. Maybe they can't do as much as they used to but struggling haven't saw that at all. Again that's my small 9/10 people sample size

You look at relationships as failure by default and would rather not get married or procreate then have to potentially deal with a woman a taking you to court for Child support. That's insane.

You know why? Because the alternative culture of fukking random bytches for the rest if your life practically guarantees that you're going to fukk up, accidentally get a bytch you don't like pregnant and end up on child support.

Solution . Live life like a hermit or get your balls snipped so you don't lose money.

Nah bredda' I live in Hyde Park: Chicago,Il, look up the real estate costs/costs of living for my area, my compensation is the real middle class figure, not the one posted on that chart in the other thread.

This strikes at the heart of the problem here, and its something that has popped up repeatedly in this thread already, and its this outrage and ambient whine from you guys over the idea of having to financially and emotionally take care of the children you create. As if your own goddamn child is some sort of burden you shouldnt have to bear.

These out of control out of wedlock birth rates didnt materialize out of thin air, and its mainly due to this culture among black men that is reflective in this thread. But Im sure you guys will find some way to shirk responsibility and scapegoat women. Y'all are experts at that.

WITH THE OUT OF CONTROL DIVORCE RATE WITH WOMEN BEING THE REASON OF IT, WHY GET MARRIED IF ALL WE'RE GONNA BE IS A DAMN PIGGY BANK?!?! What is the whole point of marriage if she can just walk out, destroy a family and make us as men pay for it... We as men shouldnt pay child support if we're making equal I shouldnt have to pay child support if it's 50/50.... but the courts dont give a fukk, once they get involved they throw whatever plans you had out the window...

Sometimes it's NOT worth it... more and more men getting financially strung out here when they did nothing wrong...
