They’ve both spoken highly of each over the years so I don’t know why people thought the beef was going to last. Egos at play that turned into a misunderstanding.

It happens...*AND* Skip And Stephen A are conditioned at this point to do everything for engagement and views.
Even if this really was some legit conflict between the two, Skip only knows one way of living at this point and that's to monetize it/publicize it. Stephen A was probably happy as hell Skip gave them both more attention more than he was emotional about the actual disagreement lol.

Perk might not be the most coherent or articulate but he has insight as a former player. He's also not afraid to hold the top players of league accountable or criticize them when it's necessary.
Too many talking heads on TV coddle players like Durant, Steph and Luka but have all the smoke for LeBron, Westbrook, Harden, Kyrie, Giannis (b4 his Chip) and others. Perk don't give nobody a pass and I respect that.

Durant, Steph, Luka are fundamentally sound players and make pretty good decisions every game. Now Luka wine too much...and he needs to be called out for it. Steph a front runner...but you can accept it though it is annoying. Durant just hoop and trash talk on Twitter....normal stuff so you can't be mad at him.
All them other guys with the exception of Giannis got baggage and narratives.
What about Durant just getting swept and looking shook for the better part of 4 games and still being called the best player on the planet?
And do we just forget Durant's OKC playoff debacles because he won 2 titles with GSW? If so 2011 should never be mentioned
Steph before this Finals vs Boston still needing to show he could be that guy when the lights are brightest but no TV pundits putting that pressure on him?
What about Luka's ball dominant ass damn near freezing his teammates out almost as much as H-town Harden use to? There's no calls for him to change his game or dissertations about how his style doesn't work.

You really shifting blame from Kyrie to Durant? 2021/22 was Kyrie messing up the team and harden walking due to it.
Durant's mistake in Brooklyn is saying they didn't need a coach along with Kyrie... essentially having Steve Nash figurehead the situation.
Durant going to GS showed Westbrook was holding him back. Though Durant does deserve some blame in the clutch as him & Westbrook were falling down, tripping, and turning over the ball in the clutch a couple games when they blew the 3-1 against GS.
Luka is young and pandemic threw off chemistry/ off season work...she he gets a couple years pass in that regard. Normal times Luka get a 5-6 years pass since he was pro over-sea instead of 7-8years for USA guys. Luka major problem was being out of shape.
Steph is likable, hungry, and don't run around controlling narratives like Bron. Plus when Steph gets matched up on a smaller guy he gotta better post footwork than Bron, ha.
