Israelite yes, and I don't consider myself African. It's nothing against Africans, but I personally don't think we are the same people. This is why I believe we were sold into slavery and Africans had no issue in doing it because we weren't there people to begin with. I also don't think something of the magnitude of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade could have even begun to happen without it being prophecy/destined to happen. It's not an easy task to take millions of people hostage, so it must have been facilitated by the Most High.
1. You are african, the europeans divide and conquer techniques are working. Anyone who was anyone got got during that period. families torn apart, tribes torn apart. Its not hard to fathom, these people have no ethics there was no buddy system. EVERYONE got took. All this I'm black but not an african just promotes more disunity and is getting black people no where. We're all victimized because we're afrikans, and look like afrikans. can we not come together off the strength of that
2. This prophecy stuff is so dangerous, to our mental state. With all the hardship its easy to come to the conclusion we're cursed. But lets wait a minute and think how that effects a person mentally. Those who are cursed circum to circumstances. Pretty much exactly what the oppressor wants... If its Gods will, people talking like we have no business overcoming it. Which can be done, but all this curse ish is defeatist mindset and getting black people no where
I was into the israelite thing when i first got my wake up, but I advanced past all that. All this "curse/ I am not african" talk does nothing but enrich our oppressors. Europeans rubbing their hands hearing this, thats another 200yrs dominance of the world.
And lastly, quoting out the KJV bible, without knowing the history of king james and the role he played in bringing capitalism and a monopoly to africa. It's actually funny, because I know folks got no idea about how he set up the first company to rape africas resources.
