This was one of the greatest sleeping nights I ever had.:wow::wow:

Only woke up cause of my 7am alarm for work.

Not gonna lie, whenever I use my alarm and sleep 6 to 6.5 hrs, I feel hella alert and gsve more energy

Every time I sleep 8 hrs, I always feel sluggish. It's crazy

Naw man, resting is a really important part of recovering from work outs. I'm sure @The Butcher can relate. The more quality sleep I get the better I recover, the better and faster the gains.

If I go 6 hours a night that doesn't let your body properly recover. Do that for a week straight and it stacks up

Everybody is different. My wife can’t function without 8-10 hrs per day. I can’t function outside of the 5-7 hour range. Best way to know how much you need is to sleep without an alarm five days straight and average the amount of time you stay asleep before you wake up (assuming you don’t have any sleep disturbances). With me, without an alarm, I’m typically awake within 5-7 hours. Any more than that and I might as well be a zombie.

I can function and make gains perfectly well on 5-6 hours most nights, as long as I get my macros.

Of course the more neurally taxing the program is, the faster I'll get worn-down undersleeping. :manny:

I usually do from about 5-7 hours a night. I wake up pretty early around 5-6am everyday even without an alarm.

once again how much rest you need depends on the state you were in before you went to sleep

when I'm at 100 percent I only need 6 hours to sleep to wake up fully energized

people force themselves to get up or wake up because they have to, and aren't fully energized, so they drink coffee, and do whatever

you're not suppose to be sluggish and have to pull yourself out of bed, you need to be fully charged when you wake up, and sometimes you need more sleep to get to that point depending on the amount of energy you used you can burn yourself out throughout week and might need 12 hours to fully recover

I don't keep track of my shyt ... I just go with what my body needs at the moment...
But one thing I will say...
You ain't got to be asleep to get rest.
My ass may sleep, wake up and do shyt...
But then just lay around for hours...
Just minding my fukking business lol

I will still sleep 7/8 hours. I don't care about these "studies".

Listen to your body and use some common sense.
