Aye man, I was just offering up some help.
:yeshrug:

oh sure of course, you're going about everything the right way 100% :myman: It's always good to try to welcome new folks.

I was more or less saying why I don't really have the patience to argue with them most of the time :mjlol: Folks don't get it and it can be frustrating.

The funny part is that they sound just like the hip hop fans that only look at lyrics in music and don't factor in musicality and how good the song sounds/feels. They act like we're reading the music on paper or something. Nas makes incredible music and is lyrical about it. someone like Canibus near the end of his career didn't. Same thing with battle rap. Lux is super lyrical and can battle really well, Cass has bars but he's missing all the intangibles that make a good battle rapper in this era.

I’m not literally mad I just thought cass coulda beat that shyt goodz came with

Idk if it’s as much conditioning as it is being an outsider vs an insider

Does Los have conditioning? He came in and made that shyt look easy imo when he battled head ice

He’s not an “insider” either but he came with a good strategy

My point is that was his first battle on a stage and he did great imo so I don’t buy this conditioning thing it’s not that serious

What I think y’all mean by “conditioning” is being able to sell average to trash material to a large crowd lol cuz that’s what I saw with goodz

No what I mean by conditioning is having at least few battles under your belt in the modern era of battle rap

Cass is NO different from Jae Millz, you can't jump back in 10+ years later and think your gonna get a easy W because of your past status as a battle rapper.....Nahhhh B that ain't how it work. The only exception was and still is....Lux.

And no that nygga did NOT do Great....Lmao you just lyin' to yourself at this point

I know what u meant and I disagree

Conditioning just means you’re now an insider and part of the community so the fans cut you slack that they’re not gonna cut an outsider because it’s some us against them shyt with y’all

As long as the outsider gets a fair shake which I think cassidy got last night it’s cool I guess

BUT you see the difference between an insider and outsider when goodz spits some average shyt and gets a good response from the crowd because he’s one of “us” and beats his chest after he says it lol

This “not one of us” shyt in battle rap is gonna keep the sport stagnant but it is what it is

I’m sure it wasn’t too crazy. Probably $20-$30k

Let’s be real, selling out a club in Atlanta and doing a good amount of PPV buys is a nice little business but not one where a performer can be paid six figures

The days of big money outside investors and $50k-$100k bags are no longer

With that said Cassidy likely got a cut of the pay per view purse which is fair
No way it was under $30k.

I definitely gave cass the first and definitely gave goodz the second... I have to be focused and watch the third again later tonight but not now. Game of thrones type of time right now.
