Rewatched the battle again. I had Cassidy losing the first time cause shyt was going downhill after his 2nd round that I did not even listen to his third like that. Matter of fact I could not even really pay attention this his thirds with the crowd booing like crazy, but it was actually pretty nice

But like someone else said in here. Battle Rap is just not about rapping nowadays, cause if it was Cass would have won

You have to have a stage presence, a good flow, energy, good bars, etc everything. This is more about a performance now. Charlie Clips for example even though he has good bars, his main thing I see he loves to do is perform for the crowd.

Yeah he should got personal and went into story mode with goodz in the second round
I think cass dilemma was he probably really doesn’t know or remember that nikka and woulda felt like less of a man if he had to paint some narrative about goodz to win a battle lol
And like some people said he didn’t take the crowd on that roller coaster ride that they like going on
That being said me personally I rather see a nikka bar someone’s head off so if cass trims the fat on his rounds and adds more variations to his delivery and flow he’ll do nikkas dirty
I had goodz winning 2-1. I watched it really good and wanted to give cass the third round but couldn’t. Goodz transaction line, the funny “not gay gay gay, but gay gay” line and another nice shyt he said in the third round saved him from losing that round. Both of their third was underwhelming.. but cass definitely got the 1st.
