People are really sleeping on Cal vs Verb. VlVerb was snapping. Verb style is not meant for one view. I understand if you no longer like his delivery, but I appreciate him being different. Also if you really listen to what he is saying it is fire. Cal is hit or miss for me, but I like the shyt he spitting against Verb. I also think people are disappointed because, we all thought the battle would be more personal and intense. Instead, it was just good rapping, and I’m ok with that.

I like Vegan Verb. Verb was coming to win against NJT, Mook, Lux, DNA, and Geechi. This felt more like pay Verb.

I don’t really think he feared Cal. Cal did what he normally does. His style isn’t really conducive to winning battles imo. It’s feels like a mixture of mixtape shyt with a few direct shots mixed in there.

Verb needs to battle guys like JC/Chilla that will strike some fear in him.

ya. not to mention mention Smack constantly shouting at them to hold it down or a drunken fight breaking out, or just the general time it takes to herd people in and out, intermissions, whatever

and also the wild card of entourages or lux's sister or whatever being on stage and all the maintenance that goes with that

@Diyhai is right on caffeine they are running a MUCH tighter ship... but still much more room for error, delays with a crowd, big venue and all those other moving parts.

Exactly.....his showtimes are always Wild. That shyt for Cal was some doctored up Reggie. I don't even think he had a haymaker to end the build up, as he is use to doing time and time again. Pay Verb was coastin' last night.

B Dot has solidified his presence on URL this year. Beat Nitty clear, classic with Saga, now a classic with T-Top. Calling out Chilla live on Caffeine to be proactive in lining up his next plate is very smart and strategic.

Matter of fact...he’s my early candidate for 2020 Champion of the Year.

I still say Chilla, but he's 2 or 3. If they battle, the winner will probably get COTY, unless Danny does some amazing shyt before 2021.

I hate to say it, but i don’t want big rooms back. These events being only 4 succinct hours instead of 8 is something i never want to give up.

I understand, but these Caffeine events are too cac'd up and lifeless. I hate gas and events taking forever, but there is NOTHING like the crowd.

I went back and watched a vid when cal was with verb shortly after be battled lux. Cal was giving verb nothing but praise.

This shyt felt like verb and cal set up a fake beef for a caffeine bag. Battle wasnt horrible but I expected a hitman vs verb rex vs shine type of tension, these 2 dudes barely touched each other.

Cuz I personally feel this is always how verb raps except I feel he elevated in the lux battle and that third round against hitman. That’s it. Ya let me know what ya think.
