I was just pointing out that the air you're worried about fouling is already fouled.

I would say cigs add about 0.01% to the outdoor mix.

for me, it's not really about health. cig smoke stinks and lingers. unless you're just posted behind a diesel truck, you don't drag the smell of car pollution around with you. but cig smoke hangs heavy, i can smell it driving on the freeway behind a car with someone smokinh. nothing like not being a smoker and covered with cig smoke because someone else was smoking near you or stunk up the elevator now you smell like you smoked a pack as well

America contributes to the health problems it suffers from. Smoking in public is one of the most inconsiderate and impactful things to do to a non smokers health. Cars etc are unavoidable, the economy halts without them. Cigarettes serve no purpose but to feed the whims of nicotine addicts and drive up healthcare costs. Tobacco industry being allowed to exist is crazy. At least with alcohol you’re only ruining your own body.

If the goal is to get rid of all substances then be consistent. If it's not, then allow some freedom for every substance abuser and realize that the whole point isn't necessarily to have a poison free world (since that's a pipe dream).

Can't speak for breh, but I just quit cold turkey and meditation. It's been almost two years, thank God.

I just got tired of it man. I remember I kept saying I was going to quit, this is my last one and kept going back to it. I always had an excuse. I even threw a pack in the trash and took it out trying to justify it because I spent money on it. One day one of my friends' sister was just like "cmon bro you know its bad for you and I know you can do better." That just triggered something in me that made me throw the pack away and not look back.

After that I worked out a lot and didn't go in stores that sold cigarettes and if I did I would only bring enough money to get what I wanted. Not going to lie there was a period where I just didnt go oitside at all cause I knew I would just walk to the store and cop
