The only thing that will make them turn on him is if he's going to take their guns. That's a move even he is smart enough to avoid. The rednecks and neonazis that are his diehard supporters love cos playing as soldiers and stockpiling guns so they're ready to enforce violent demographic change. Trump is a bully. Fascism is the ideology of the loser and bully. It appeals to the loser because it tells him the reason his life isnt where he wants it to be is because of someone else. It appeals to the bully because bullies enjoy hurting people who can't fight back. As a bully, trump knows how to pick his targets. He's declared a world trade war and uses the Whitehouse to invite leaders so he can humiliate them. The only country that has told him to go fukk himself and has the leverage to fight back is the same country that many(including myself) clowned for making knock off versions of everything in America. Turns out that was the smartest thing they could have ever done because now American banks and tech companies have zero leverage in that country. The only option is military and they have nukes so they'll shoot back on some "nah, WE both dying here" and given that their population is nearly 3 times that of america, with a massive global diaspora, they have a chance of surviving a nuclear exchange no matter how tiny.
This is what is going to happen: those magats who lose their snap benefits will be forced to go to food banks, soup kitchens etc. And guess who tends to work at places like that? "Woke liberals" and non whites. Interacting with those people on a regular basis and realizing that they aren't bloodthirsty murderers obsessed with turning people Trans and gay, they'll realize that maybe they can actually share a country with people like that and although they can be annoying, they want to strengthen the social safety net instead of cutting it. People are what make this country what it is, and people know how to come together to use their resources for the benefit of the community. Conservatism is a selfish ideology that basically says "fukk yall I got mine. There's a right and a wrong way to do everything and I'm always right" such an ideology is utterly useless in a crisis situation where cooperation is the difference between life and death and not just some "woke liberal bullshyt".

Probably won't happen. They will figure out some way to remedy this. For as much as the American media have been successful in making the ghetto black woman the welfare queen the halting of snap hurts a lot more than just them. It hurts the poor white woman who still recieve it more and it will tremendously hurt food markets all across the country who rely on snap customers at a significant rate. This might be a play from the trump administration to create the issue and become the solution and make himself more favorable to the American public. This happens the ramifications goes beyond just more theft in the hood. You playing with Walmart Walgreens jewels etc money now who already barely making it.
