Yea it quite ridicilious and doesn't make a lick of sense for me. Snapchat and tinder are two apps valued very high and provide nothing tangible. And the worst part is no one can provide reasons on why it is worth and how much exactly it's worth.


Atleast with Twitter and facebook. What you post increases is seen by billions and millions. A retweet can skyrocket the popularity of a product.

It's crazy Twitter is valued at $250 billion and companies like Sony are floundering towards bankruptcy.

Its already been monetized with tinder plus.

Instagram was overvalued as well. Its more about data collecting. Companies like Google and Facebook make money of your information. That's why they wanna buy up all these apps with large userbase
