Indeed. I remember that whole situation and felt that he should have remained on the team.
Good lawd. He will never be enough for some of you nikkas because he isn't the typical QB.
It's not about being the typical QB, but he needs to improve as a passer.

Exactly, reminds me of all the early criticism of Lebron and lack of jumper back in the day. shyt don't matter if they're one dimensional if you still can't figure out how to stop that one dimension. Baltimore still wins way more than their talent level says they should based on Lamar and he's still a nightmare for most defenses. He's still young and improving. For some reasons black QBs get wrote off so early in their careers as if they can't keep improving their games.
Lamar can definitely improve. But it's nuts to say he'll never be able to win or any bullshyt like that.

The team wins...not the player. Lamar has been successful, but you'd have to be blind to say he doesn't need to improve in some areas especially if you want him to have a long and successful career.

They've been scrapping by due to talent. Talent only gets you so far. Should be 0-2 right now. League catches up to teams fast. Brady the GOAT went a decade without a title. Chiefs need an overhaul in the off-season. The foundation is leaking on the O and D Lines and just plugging parts won't work. Add that the league allows defenses to actually play defense in the hugest games(see Mahomes 2 Super Bowl stats), they need to make that change
Exactly and he's not going to have a long and successful career like this either. Good win, good player, but he has to clean some shyt up...I even criticized Mahomes. Too many sensitive people.

I'm not speaking on somebody saying he needs to improve as a passer because he does. I'm speaking on people saying crazy shyt like Lamar will never be a winner or that the Ravens need to bring in different QBs cause they'll never go anywhere with him as the starter which has been said.
This is just hating. Baltimore wasn't winning shyt in the years prior to getting Lamar.
