Listening to this on a whim right now, and just a few songs in, and it’s already better than that disaster Missionary album. The full production credits are there, but it does have beats from Mr. Porter, Rick Rock, Battlecat, Soopafly, and several others, but those 4 handle the bulk of it. This really makes me continue to question if Dr. Dre’s heart is truly even in production anymore.

I did a scan of the album where I listen to about 15 seconds of each song. Sounds better than that last bullshyt.

Probably took him a couple of weeks to put this together while that Dre bullshyt took years.

He just put a lot of time into a campaign and promo for an album with Snoop that people asked for forever, and it flopped.

Dude ain't going nowhere near Snoop for a minute, lol. Flopping and bad reviews are what he fears the most. That's why we ain't getting Detox. He only wants to drop classic sh*t every project. Whenever it doesn't work for him, he vanishes again.

Dre doesn't understand that 90% of his audience just wants gangsta shyt :manny: That's what he branded himself as and that's what we consider his classic shyt.

I think he’s past that now tbh and doesn’t give a fukk, I think he just wanted a buzz around the Gin and Juice rollout and knew the album was easy advertisin. Dre don’t give much of a fukk about music at all no more imo.

He cares.

He just said he doesn't believe in making music just for the sake of it. It's always been about legacy for Dre. D.O.C. said recently that Dre is still always in the studio making incredible sh*t, but he has trouble convincing him to let the people hear it. That dude loves music, but he understands that he's going to be criticized on a much higher level than other people. He's Dr. Dre!

Everything he does musically comes with a ridiculous amount of scrutiny. And that's what's f*cked him up with just dropping sh*t.

But I can slap the taste out your motherfukking mouth
Pull up on your nikka, make you wanna reroute

That's his opinion though.

It's not dude's opinion that Dre is in the studio, lol. Quik, Cat, 1500 and a bunch of other dudes have all said that Dre is still always in the studio. So he's making music. We're just not hearing it.

Even so, that’s not to say he cares. That’s the point I was making. Maybe he doesn’t care. He’s Mr Business these days. The music may just further his other agenda now…. P.R. and advertising the brand.

Maybe not though. Who really knows. It certainly sounds like he don’t give a fukk.
