divisive comments made for sure. And it’s especially bad because Rich Paul has always been Bron’s mouthpiece he isn’t going to be out there saying anything that Bron isn’t already trying to convey. But he wasn’t all the way wrong either. However AR is dropping 27 a game he doesnt belong on the bench. But this team is not even close to being a contender. They can’t match up against any team with any kind of length or athleticism. Their 3 best players all get exploited and they will definitely get boomed in the first round again at this rate



You cant put it all on Bron. What KD was doing to Luka yesterday is why this team can’t go anywhere. Luka is a horrific defender and needs a team of athletes surrounding him to compete. Ar is a below average to solid defender but athletes bother him on both ends of the court so a Luka/AR led team wasn’t about to do anything against the top teams. Bron is definitely not the impactful player used to be but the real problem is Luka and him have utterly no chemistry. Luka doesn’t even move when Bron has the ball and Bron is totally disengaged when Luka has it. They don’t play off each other at all. So they both don’t have what they need out there and it’s diminished the team

You're right about Luka. I have defintely been in this thread blaming him for L's, one game I break down how the team basically collapsed in the second half once Luka returned to the game. His defense and turnovers and shot selection has for sure killed us. Especially in recent weeks, his overall net rating for the season has dipped.

What seperates Bron in this is a few things.....



1) His offensive impact is nowhere close to Luka's.

2) He is 40 and Luka is 26. For whatever Luka's flaws are he's out future, and Bron's 50M is our biggest hindrance into fully building out a team around Luka that masks his flaws

3) There's only one player who has his agent making dumbass comments CONSTANTLY. Only one player laughing with the other team while the coach is trying to call a play, forcing him to waste a timeout. There's only one player overruling the coach and best player to take a tech at the end of the game and miss it. Bron always does extra shyt that amplifies whatever negative might be happening on the court.

All of this energy spent on "not blaming it all on Bron" "there's a bigger problem"......nah, Bron, his presence, his agent, his entire propaganda mill IS the big problem. AR and Luka's defense are just flaws that we can mask along the way. If the Mavs can make the Finals with Luka and Kyrie, we can do it with Luka and AR.
