So are we ready to admit that Reigns is a better worker than Cena right now?

As much as people get on Reigns for that promo, Cena has numerous cringeworthy promos. And if they're not cringeworthy, he's burying the fukk out of his opponents on the mic. Cena's mic skills are easily one of the most overrated aspects of his talent. He not only can't sell in a match but he can't sell a feud either.
It's always been that. His y2cheap promo is what started the fans turning on him. If it isn't cheesy and lame it's "you're only here for the money and I'm here because I love it" or "you make that title worthless". Last year he was trying to hype his summer slam match with Brock by saying what separates him and Brock is heart, as if Brock isn't one of the most competitive guys on the planet :mjlol:. Guy drove all the way from South Dakota to Southern California to go to school so he could wrestle in college. :camby: with these outright burial promos. All his promos during his feud with rock were "he abandoned us all for Hollywood and I'll never do that". Tried so hard to get fans behind him and they wanted none of it.

IMO Reign's just needs better finishers that are taking seriously and devastating...
A 260 pound guy running through you is plenty devastating to me :manny:. It's the size Ray Lewis played at, and he dished out some of the meanest hits that pro football has ever seen. Let's ask Dustin Keller or Chad Johnson or Kellen Winslow (that Winslow hit )

Punk didn't. In fact he used his position to give Big E a chance to get on TV. Daniel Bryan didn't either. :sas1:
if you believe punk never politicked idk what to tell you. it doesn't have to be a constant thing but eventually everyone gets put in a position where they think they should go over because its smart and makes for a better story.

With the way he was booked, I doubt it. :skip:

Roman only has 4 moves, which he makes sure to use every match. Yeah, his strength makes it easier to work a decent match with anyone. Cena's MO is pretty solid and refined though.

It would take you a lot longer to get bored with Cena than with Roman if both were to have started at the same time.

If Reigns can add in a bit more variety in his offense, he's just as good of a worker as anyone on the main roster not named Cesaro, Owens, or healthy Rollins.

He's improved so much this year, I'd wish neckbeards would let their hate go and embrace him already,....it'll be their fault when Sheamus walks out of SS with the belt.
im slowly turning around on reigns. i mean theres still bits of annoyance with him but hopefully he gets better. promo skills will benefit him more.
Question. Top 5 Moves Roman can add to his repertoire?

I'll admit, I really try to like Reigns. Then he cuts a promo, and I have to reset everything again. I'm sorry. He cuts promos like a bad actor. He emphasizes the wrong words, which makes his swagger seem inauthentic.

I'm just not feeling it, sorry. And I'm nowhere near a neckbeard. Watch a Rick Martel promo, and then a Roman Reigns one. How a steroid junkie model gets it better than someone actually being coached constantly :mindblown:?

Then watch a Curt Henning promo, and then a Roman Reigns one. Hell, if you want to find a similar age, watch a 2003 Brock Lesnar promo, then Reigns.

Not just that

He tried to....Punk wanted to stay face but Vince wanted a heel to face Rock at Rumble 2013 so he told Punk that he could stay face and keep racking up his merchandise sales in that facet and Vince was gonna have Bryan win the payoff match against Punk where AJ was the referee but Punk compromised his whole belief system just so he could be in the ring with the Rock. That wasn't enough though..he was supposed to be turned heel to face Rock at Rumble..Ok..but he tried to be SLICK and thought he could get a 50/50 win split with the Rock and somehow leverage that into a WM 29 main event spot. He's admitted to this openly and much to everyone's laughter showing how frail his ego and confidence truly is...so it's no surprise when Punk blocks someone on twitter on when he has to try to answer for loving Stone Cold yet getting on Chris Brown's ass over Rihanna. He's "always right and no one else is"...one of those types. Always the victim.

"This isn't boring, people. This is real life" I can't believe he said that $hit:laugh: Got to learn to think better on his feet than that....he doesn't know how to handle a hostile crowd.

Reigns isn't the one calling his matches, so no.

:lolbron: The dude is minnow chum, being asked to be the lead shark. It just can't work right now, and I fear ever. I think a good feud with Seth or Dean could get him out of himself, as he may trust them more. I'm not seeing how there's no real improvement.

Because the constant coaching is most likely the problem? With word getting out last year that sometimes storylines and promos are rewritten on Monday itself forcing the wrestlers to memorize their fully written promos only hours in advance is going to hurt them because they can't act natural. Look at how much different (specifically, how much better) The New Day has gotten now that they have admittedly far more freedom to do their own thing, their own way.

Hell, just look how unnatural Stone Cold and HBK sounded cutting those Vince-written Network promo's a couple weeks back. Some guys are more comfortable with it than others but the heavy 'follow the lines' scripting is hurting a lot of these guys on the mic. Ryback's live promo's and interviews got so bad they now only got him doing those pre-recorded promo's they show while entering the ring.
