I don't have a major problem with it because the matches have definitely improved across the board but I guess it's one of those things that gets more noticeable once somebody mentions it.
The one major problem I have with this is that the commentary fails to sell these moments properly. Prime example:
THE STREAK IS OVER!!! THE STREAK IS OVER!!! MICHAELS HAS DONE IT!!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
In that moment, you know Michaels isn't going to win because the commentary makes it seem like he is. It ruins the finisher's impact because we know it isn't going to end the match. It happens
every single time.
I don't know why they have to oversell every finisher and say "Is it gonna be enough?" or "Do we have a new champion here?!" like I'm supposed to believe that's it.
