Kasim is a dumb ass nikka
Again that's not true. If you want to speak from the perspective of an outsider who's a fan, cool, but as I've said to you before STOP misrepresenting the views & opinion of Atlantans & Falcons fans.
The city, GWCC & Falcons wanted very badly for a deal to get done. Falcons fans are ambivalent, but the biggest issue will be the PSL's & people who can't renew season tix b/c of it. Other than that there was no civic outrage over this issue. & most felt like a deal would get done soon.

fukk tha Falcons.

This is the main reason why there's no team in LA. Goodell and company use LA as leverage to get cities to cave in to a new stadium for their existing teams who threaten to leave. It just worked for Minnesota and now ATL. They're making a killing off this shyt. More revenue for the NFL. They'll put a team out here once they can no longer milk this money making schemeCarné Asada;3495530 said:What is this, the 10th time a team threatened to move to LA?![]()

the most hilarious/dumbfounding part is these cities know how much the owners are worth, it's no secret what they are worth yet the still cover the bill. How dumb are these city officials? This coming after Miami got publicly rapedso ATL cavedthe most hilarious/dumbfounding part is these cities know how much the owners are worth, it's no secret what they are worth yet the still cover the bill. Not that much of a non factor when through the course of two decades- Seattle, Cinny, Raiders, 49ers, Bills, Jets(small rumor), Colts, Saints, Vikings, etc have all threatened to move here if they didn't get new stadiums built. Its the perfect leverageThe Falcons were never going to leave Atlanta so mentioning these idle threats to move, like they ever had any merit or really influenced any discussions here is nonsense
LA is/has been a non factor in the NFL for more than 2 decades, that's been very obvious since the Rams & Raiders both left town
Because these officials are fukking cowards. They know the voters would never let them stay in office if a sports team leaves... even though the taxpayers get involved in at some point to cover the costs. It's sad. Especially when it comes to football.
Meanwhile, shyt like education and better infrastructure? We can't talk about that at all. But we better make sure that football team goes nowhere.
It's on the officials as much as it is the citizens and the unnecessary pressure/folding.

Blank is putting up $700 million breh. $700 million
The city is paying $200 milllion through a hotel/tourist tax.
Honestly, I doubt the average Atlanta taxpayer is seeing much of the cost.
