nikka cap space is not a factor for the Nets. They have a owner thats worth 15 billion. Whats an extra 25 mill tax every year. He made that in a day last week. Dwight will be a Net either now of next summer.

nikka the thing is they still can't sign him. They have to trade for him. That's why they have a salary cap.

They have to have cap space avaliable to offer him a max contract or they have to trade for him. Where did this give lopez the max talk come from though? he's still restricted for this season.

I'm playing devils advocate on the lopez deal he is to me the 2nd best low post scoring C with Bynum being the best but he ain't worth the Max 4 yr 46-48 million yep.

You can only go over the cap to sign the players you have currently on your team. They can only attain Howard via trade. They can't outright sign him.
