So can we all agree that Joe Flacco is an elite QB?

Since we fired out garbage ass OC, he's thrown for 15 TD's and 1 INT in 6 games (one of those games was a week 17 game where he only played one quarter, so you can really say 5 games).

We'll have to see how he can perform in a full season, but if thats not elite then I don't know what is.

No, Joe Flacco is not elite. Regardless of all the reactionary muh fukkas that are going to pop up this season he is NOT elite. I hate the Falcons with a passion, but Matt Ryan is better than Flacco and even he isn't elite

matt ryan is not better than flacco

now that he's playing well, its our receivers who are making him look good. That's funny because before this postseason run, Anquan Boldin was washed up and old and slow, Torrey Smith was a one trick pony, Jacoby Jones had no hands, etc.:troll:

Crazy how once you have a good QB all your receivers start looking better, isnt it? Ask any of the bum receivers Manning has ever had.

Matt ryan has the best receiving core in nfl history and he couldnt even get to the super bowl

He just won his first playoff game.

Flacco is better than ryan the same reason brady is better than peyton. They show up in the playoffs (90% of the time)

don't disrespect peyton like that

Tier A
1. Rodgers
2. Brady
3. P. Manning

Tier B
4. Eli Manning
5. Flacco
6. Brees
7. Big Ben

Not sure if I put Matt Ryan in tier B, or bump him in the next tier with Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, RG3, etc. etc.

The argument that Flacco is elite is very valid ... was not a believer in him until this season. Showed me a lot, especially in the playoffs. Love his personality, too (no ****).

Just my opinion, of course.

brees is tier a bruh

Yes he is. Football is the ultimate team sport but people want to act like the kid won the SB on his own, Flacco had a great playoff run this year and is definitely a good franchise QB but I'd still take Matt Ryan over him

i agree with u on football being an ultimate team sport and flacco winning a superbowl isn't the reason y hes better than matt ryan, he's better because he has a stronger arm is more clutch he doesn't have a recieving core like ryan, and most of his career he was playing n a system that dosn't play to his strengths

It's not the fact that he won the Superbowl that made him elite. It's how, especially in the Bronco and 49ers Superbowl games. Dude had to be damn near perfect twice or else the Ravens go home. Honestly the Raven's defense has been pretty ho-hum this season, so you can't use that as a crutch. Put it like this Jim Caldwell is basically drawing up plays and telling him to find the open man and it's working in spades. I think dude has crossed the threshold. IMO an elite or near elite QB elevates his team, Torre Smith is underrated but dudes had written off Anquan Boldin, now dude got a ring while his partner Fitz is pissing away his prime in the desert.

lol, he went 11 Td-0 INT this postseason and made every throw needed. game managers dont throw 3 TD's in a Super Bowl

hes not elite yet, but to not even suggest hes very good is dumb. this guy was a dropped pass from getting a chance last year

:beli:

He under threw a prayer that Jacoby Jones came back for and styled on the secondary for 1 TD and the other two were from inside the red zone.

Flacco is still an above average qb but I'm calling him Elite. Son doesn't take over games and I haven't seen a signature drive from him yet where he's just in the zone picking the defense apart.

Nobody would even entertain this thought if Denver's safety didn't smoke crack before that play in the divisional round.

Joe Flacco is elite, by the way. He may be at the bottom of the elite crew, but he's elite.

And he's the last QB we will see become elite outside of Kaep, Luck, Wilson, and MAYBE RG3 (due to injury) for a long time...

it happened tho, therefore the thought will be entertained

lol @ taking away credit for red zone passing TD's, those are the toughest ones to make. its pretty obvious you dont want to give dude any credit when he played almost flawless the whole postseason
