I've been following Mero since he was posting on 12 Oz Prophet and then later the Victory Light blog which lead to him getting the writing gig with Complex and everything that spun out from there. With that said, the dude had definitely over achieved and he lost all of the comedic edge on the way up. I don't see him growing beyond the show, so I really hope he's not the reason for the split like it seems. He better keep his twitter popping if he wants to keep his name out there.

Na
Idk about height, they peaked awhile ago

It was only a matter of time, tiktok started running NY jokes to the ground. Still a shame tho
Idk how they fell out
Aba and Preach been doing it for a while

Even if they separated because of different goals, could have been amicable

I never liked these dudes. They weren’t funny to me. Especially their “I’m from New York” shtick.

Desus is a star fukker, at least that’s what it looks like. He on Anna Kendrick’s coat tails like a mother fukker, chasing her around Europe and shyt. He could be beating, but he seems to like that side kick, gay best friend role, not that he gives any indication that he is gay, tho. I don’t want to slander the art, I agree that the jokes and shyt weren’t hitting anymore, and the 15 min of aka shyts were cringe asf, but they did some funny, edgy shot when it was fresh, and just about every pod, they said at least a couple of funny things. For me, I stopped laughing when Desus would make the connection, or premise of a song, and Mero would have to beat that shyt into the ground, too much
he really on that birdfacebird nuts like that? :mjlol: shameful

Colossal blowing of a bag underway.

I honestly hope they don’t think people care about Desus OR Mero cause it ain’t gonna go how they think it’s gonna go
showtime was a decent run but ALOT of this show was way too guest driven. I hope they bring back the podcast but two separate ventures sounds like a bag being dropped. Mind you, none of these dudes do standup for a living?

Norfeast groovin…
Naw, all jokes aside, if they or anyone of their associates is reading this I was Bodega Hive like shyt….wtf made them think it was a good idea to adopt agenda talking points and preach and actively tell your audience that you’re selling out for the bag?

They made selling out look like the unappealing thief of authenticity that it is.

I’m not speaking as far as content. I’m speaking as far as media placements. I mean damn they just did commentary for the NBA All Star weekend. That’s huge for a couple of local NY comics
