One of the most thought provoking albums I've heard in years and dudes are calling it a flop. It's not an easy to digest album though.
So because some songs have an uplifting message we should give him a pass? Since he's not talking about negative shyt its automatically a great album?nikkas gon nig :camsmug:
Don't see how anyone can hate on someone putting out a album like that. Songs like "i", Alright, Complexion, and How Much A Dollar Cost should get the upmost respect considering the trash the kids are really listening to today." "i" may be corny and wack but how can you not respect the song for the message. Meanwhile you got dumb ass songs getting like I'm in love with the Coco getting spins on the radio. Little 5 years talking about how they got baking soda. That shyt hot tho so they say.
But let these same Gump nikkas be in The Locker room with their faux militant slander ranting about shyt going on. But yeah you talk sown on your own. Kendrick a c00n? Nah Charles Barkley is c00n. People going at Kendrick's neck because his girl from 10 years has a light complexion.
It's always been apparent that Compton is where his heart is, reasons why 95% of his songs are about it or relate to it some how.
Yall seem to have a problem with his fans more than you do him. Yall bytch about the hyperbole that all fans put out about their favorite artists. Even Hopsin's fans are calling him GOAT on youtube. But real men don't pay attention to shyt like the right?
At end of the day, these dudes just trolling and fishing for daps or what not. Let em cook
shyt was trash.. he could be rapping the solution to solve world hunger and it still sounded trash. Kendricks message about us not having respect for each other being why cops kill us is the same shyt Chares Barkley says soo...
it dropped and 5 minutes later people called it the goat album only to not talk about it 2 weeks later, they prolly digested the lyrics and realized that its a boring garbage 1 dimensional faux militant album filled with respectability politics disguised as being pro-black.. and the same type of people who shytted on raven symone, diddy, stacey dash, and several other famous c00ns dikkrode kendrick and gave him a pass because they liked how the music sounded
I'm happy this shyt is struggling to go platinum and Cole is gonna outlast him when its all said and done:smug50:

Nah, this album got more love from the critics then the people, the opposite of IWW.This is Kendrick's "It Was Written", 10 years from now, it'll be seen as a classic and underrated, it's just not the right time for it. The album is very solid and has few flaws. You guys want everything INSTANT, some albums become classic later down the line, let it marinate.
:drizzywtf:u on 50s dikk more than anyone on this site, if anything thats your GodThank god your God :fif: dropping the heat doe

U must be an anime fan then fukkboyThis post once again proves my point how people who like Anime have possibly the most inane and abhorrent taste in regards to music.

Yall can feel free to address the actual points I made instead of bringing up irrelevant shyt that has nothing to do with what I said about Kendrick
Ok lets put his respectability politics to the side since it didnt dictate his craft. What you said about Kendrick was irrelevant to his craft as an artist. You essentially contradicted yourself without even knowing it.
And I wouldn't even call his songs squeaky clean positive smiles and sunshine either.

The music wasnt sqeaky clean but his message was "positive" compared to the majority of mainstream rap music these days, that doesn't mean that just because his music had a "positive" message means it sounds nice.. shyt was trash
GKMC tho![]()
nope, just dont wanna hear him make a trash album, I like Section 80 too which sounds nothing like GKMC but keep making excuses and talking about DBZBasically you want artist to re-do the exact same album over and over again.
Explains why you like Dragonball Z.
