there were peons on SOHH (posters that joined when the site was already a shell of itself) that became/are mods here
and people (including former SOHH mods [who couldn't be mods here]) still resent that to this day
to the point that they're making hate threads on dapcity...cause they're too shook to say it on here...

a lot of the main people (not saying all but a few) that don’t want to go to DapCity due to the mods…

are coli people that have targeted and fukked with certain DC Mods over the years and now think if they go over there, the mods are gonna get their revenge and target them back.

People are harping on reggie and bryan being mods, and while I agree with the sentiment that they are oddballs, I also think they are potentially two of the more unbiased people to put into the moderator positions (time will tell of course). The biggest problem here on the coli imo is the fact that that lots of mods here often lead with their egos and let's be honest some of them are just as weird or even weirder than bryan or reggie. All a moderator should be is someone who fields reports and keeps threads from getting derailed by bad faith actors. Them being being moderators is not indicative of the direction of where the board is headed, and hopefully they just stick to the program of fielding reports and preventing threads from getting derailed by bad faith actors. If they start showing a bias or abusing their powers, they'll be voted out and replaced by a new person until a good balance is found which is something that this site is no longer capable of since the owners decided to close registration and abandon this place.

I'm personally not trying to get away from the "coli culture" like some are, I just know that this site won't be around in a couple years and am trying to get dapcity's name out there since it seems to have the most potential and is most democratically run / community driven at this point.

But over there I’ll be playing it straight, there are some people that I don’t get along with that already signed up over there and if I really wanted to be on some type of time… I would’ve BEEN got to them.
