I'm wondering if there should be yearly moderator elections until everything gets ironed out @thaKEAF ?

If someone is moderating properly, it's only natural that they'll be reelected time and time again, no?

Its already is what it is, of people act up, they will be out. Not sure what else needs to be done.

Also why opened up unnecessary agendas, cuz what if that becomes

People are harping on reggie and bryan being mods, and while I agree with the sentiment that they are oddballs, I also think they are potentially two of the more unbiased people to put into the moderator positions (time will tell of course). The biggest problem here on the coli imo is the fact that that lots of mods here often lead with their egos and let's be honest some of them are just as weird or even weirder than bryan or reggie. All a moderator should be is someone who fields reports and keeps threads from getting derailed by bad faith actors. Them being being moderators is not indicative of the direction of where the board is headed, and hopefully they just stick to the program of fielding reports and preventing threads from getting derailed by bad faith actors. If they start showing a bias or abusing their powers, they'll be voted out and replaced by a new person until a good balance is found which is something that this site is no longer capable of since the owners decided to close registration and abandon this place.

I'm personally not trying to get away from the "coli culture" like some are, I just know that this site won't be around in a couple years and am trying to get dapcity's name out there since it seems to have the most potential and is most democratically run / community driven at this point.
