What about his game doesn't?Manu's skillset transfers to any team. Draymon does not.

Lock up Dream, breh
Nobody said that you dumbass.I still can't believe someone said that.
Two guys with elite size and athleticism like prime magic shaq and drob, couldn't stop him. that basically means no one we've seen play could.
The eye test of what? This nikka never at any point passed the eye test...
It was dumb obvious he was nothing more than a glorified 4th wheel...
Draymond's BBIQ, playmaking, and especially defense, transfer everywhere.Manu's skillset transfers to any team. Draymon does not.
The eye test of what?
He's never been a main-option scoring type. I don't know why y'all keep needing to layer this. Do y'all dudes not understand nor value anything about the game besides scoring?
Draymond's BBIQ, playmaking, and especially defense, transfer everywhere.
The revisionism of what he's proven over the last five years is comical.
Without looking at the rosters I can say Portland and LAL but I get your point. I don't debate against good facts and you have facts on your sideHis best offensive ability is his passing.
How many teams in the league feature a back court where they dont the basketball to be effective and they can catch and shoot.
So if dray doesnt have the ball he's useless offensively. Hes not a spot up shooter and hes not going to dominate in the lane or glass. So what happens.. Teams wont play him and the spacing will suffer..
The funny thing with this is, if Draymond was on the Rockets over the last five years, they probably would've won a title or two.His playnaking is good when he has the ball in his hands. Which team besides gsw is going to have hin as their primary ball handler and play maker? Steph and klay dont need the rock so draymons skillset is perfect there.
Put him on houston and he isnt seeing the basketball. Same with alot of teams
Do you wanna explain how this makes any sense in relation to this thread? What the fukk does his box score #s have to do with his defense? Are you telling me that his points, assists, rebounds, and scoring efficiency is a direct reflection of his defensive abilities?Bu Bu Bu But Draymond is a great defender and would shut down Kareem Abdul Jabbar![]()
He might not fit on every roster but his value is better in this league with so many combo guards. He can initiate a half court offense like a traditional pg so these teams like Portland, GSW, Denver, Boston could send both guards to the wings as shooting guards and save them a lot of usage without sacrificing much scoring. His playnaking is good when he has the ball in his hands. Which team besides gsw is going to have hin as their primary ball handler and play maker? Steph and klay dont need the rock so draymons skillset is perfect there.

- '16 Warriors v. '87 Lakers
- Cap was 39-years-old
- Cap was defended by less capable defenders and teams
Anyone that doesn't think Draymond/Warriors could defend Cap at that stage of his career clearly doesn't know a cotdamn thing about the game.

Seems to me dray Klay everyone else become hall of famers and an all time great team only in the context of discussing LeBrons finals resume.![]()
Just so we’re clear
Draymond trash
Steph trash
And lebron lost 2/3 to the warriors?

It's one of many straw man arguments that's used to discredit this team and the players on it.
The funny thing is, if this team came up in the 90s or 80s or 70s, and had the same amount of success, this board would treat Draymond, Steph, Klay etc like Gods, and they wouldn't stand for any type of criticism or slander. In fact, they'd probably be overrated, but because they're the face of today's era, these muh'fukkas do whatever they can to tear them down.
Exactly.
This is why cats don't understand the game on this board. They live through box score stats, and fail to grasp that there are infinite more actions that aren't recorded in the box score that happen during a game. It's why they're in here trying to shyt on Draymond's scoring/shooting ability when that was never where his strengths were/are and the impact he has/had on the game.
That's the level of impact he had on defense during the '16 season. Nobody else came remotely close.
