No, it's stupid to think that boycotting white-owned businesses and creating our own economy wouldn't combat racial inequality and police brutality.

1) Unity is the key word. Unity and sending a message with our pockets. The message is what connects Mike Brown and the boycotts: If Amerikka doesn't value black life, don't expect to value our black dollar.

I don't know how many times people tried to drill into your head, this isn't the end all be all, its a start, look at the bigger picture

Anything accomplished within this country, including your solutions, requires funding, and where are we gonna get the funding if we don't start somewhere

2) It goes much deeper than cops & cameras. It comes down to bringing down a corrupted system. What's stopping these cops from taking these cameras off? What's stopping them from even getting away with murder even when filmed?

Example 1: Eric Garner. This whole incident was filmed and almost NOTHING has come of this

We, as black people, need to unify, send a message, and support out own to either fight a corrupt system, or, build or own and support ourselves while everyone else leave us the hell alone... and this may be a start

America is full of individuals. When have you seen unity? Did you see that when black businesses were being burned down? Did that happen after Trayvon? People get on with life.

All white businesses? Because all whites are bad? There are people of all colors that had a problem with this.

Your problem is you're clueless as what to do and you're not living in the real world.

But it gets you daps on some hip hop message board. And that makes you feel good.

Got some other ignorant kid that throws up some Frederick Douglass avatar, and he thinks he's doing his part.

Not shopping at "white businesses" does nothing for situations like this. Doesn't do anything. Some random white business you're not going to shop at, didn't pull the trigger.
