The PS4 is an improvement over PS3 in gaming. The Xbox One is media focused and not focused in gaming.

You can buy a cheap $100 Roku, Fire, etc that can do more than the Xbox One can do right now. If someone wanted to, a PS4 + Roku is a much more powerful combination than a Xbox One.

The guy claims the Xbox One Kinect is an innovation but the fact remains that the Kinect has yet to bring any innovation to gaming since the original launched on the Xbox 360.

Could it be an innovative tool? Possibly.
Has it been? No.

Sometimes boring is the most business-savvy road to travel. Sometimes it’s a word that shouldn’t carry such negative connotation. If games are the most important thing to gamers, making things like the Kinect or the Wii U gamepad mandatory is a big mistake.

I thought these were videogames consoles? Wasn't that the argument last gen when all you heard was "we just wanna play games" when bluray was in the PS4?

Smart TVs exist now so the shyt we had built in last gen's consoles are not needed on the new ones. The basics are still there with hulu, netflix, etc.

I'm glad that Sony focused on gaming with the PS4 instead of the shyt MS tried. And the people have spoken as well with their wallets.
