Speaking of Dominican food

I know a banging ass Dominican food spot uptown near Fordham and Webster if anyone's interested

what spot? And we need to have a fukkin NYC Coli meet up. I know there will be tons of fukkery and maybe some people might not wanna do it because they wanna stay anonymous on this board, but it seems like theres some cool motherfukkas on here

Prices is good too

Their steak and onions is BANGIN

they serve these ribs too that are mad good and these pastelitos which are like these Dominican empanadas pretty good too

Mama's empanadas in Queens (there's a bunch of them) got some good empanadas too

Do the get it twisted though people I know people that moved here that were not impressed

But I guess they just didn't make things happen or their money was low

It is mad expensive out here so it's hard to really party a lot and still be financially responsible

But if you like just everyday regular shyt like museums and parks and bike riding you'll have mad fun out here

That's why it's important to live near or in Manhattan

You can just walk through the city on a nice night and have mad fun

You'll literally see all kind of shyt it's crazy

Dominicans own the BX now just like they do the Heights, but it's all about where you are in the BX. I grew up near Yankee Stadium and that area still has symptoms of its old self but is changing gradually. But when I go visit the fam once in a while, I know that I would lose my mind if I lived there now.

I always be in the NE BX where Yardies be at. :salute: I ain't going to live in that overcrowded ass central and south BX where parking is non-existent. Yeah Dominicans ran the PRs outta the BX, and its partially because NY lost its dominance in Hip Hop where everyone wants to be ratchet and southernized now.

Brehs, I think y'all going overboard with Ricans being ran out the city. They are here in LARGE numbers still. :patrice:

Fordham road used to be nothing but Ricans 10 years ago, with a sprinkle of Dominicans. Now, its the other way around. Massive change of demographics in under a decade.

I went to a handful of parties out in Queens and the thing I notice was that Jamaicans that owned houses used to fix up the basement like a bar and serve liquor and play music like it was a club.

Not from Queens but my pops is Jamaican and we did that in our house :ohhh:

and all his Jamaican friends did that too :ohhh:

never knew that was a Jamaican thing:ohhh:

Nah that Fordham/Kingsbridge area been Dominican since the 90's, shyt is basically connected to Inwood and that whole 207 and Dyckman area that's mad Dominican. There's less Ricans I agree with y'all there, but they still out in heavy numbers.

Where I have noticed more Dominicans is in the South Bronx and Harlem, I wouldn't say they outnumber Ricans in any of those two areas tho.

Ricans still the biggest Latino immigrant group in the city. Dominicans don't be in Brooklyn and Queens like that. I looked up the numbers there's 1.1 million Ricans in the NY Metro and 835,000 Dominicans. Within the city limits there's 723,000 Ricans and 576,000 Dominicans.

I live in Queens,

Queens the greatest fukking borough
Diverse as fukk,

Idk Jamaica is a little more segregated, you need to head up north. Where I live, one block you see black people, then asians, then mexicans, then south americans, within 4 blocks.

and of course Queenies are the best looking NYC girls,

I hate the E Train though, F train baby :myman:
